I am losing my marbles over my $75 thrift store find – people tell me it’s ‘100% real,’ I’m so excited to wear it

A THRIFT store supremo has hit the jackpot with her $75 find.

She’s losing her marbles over the potential of her incredible fashion bargain.

People are telling her it’s “100% real,” but she is just so excited to wear it.

It’s not very often mere mortals get the chance to own something from a high-end label.

But Beka Thrifts (@bekathrifts) thinks Lady Luck might have been looking down at her.

Her TikTok is devoted to “having fun and finding deals.”

In this post, she showed off her purchase and asked viewers if she should get it authenticated.

“Is this real?” she asked. “I ran into the thrift store for one thing and I found this hanging in the window and I couldn’t leave it.”

It was a classic designer bag from the French fashion house, Louis Vuitton.

“From all of my research on line, I think that it is real. And I am losing my mind,” she squealed.

“It’s absolutely beautiful. I really know very little about Louis Vuitton and I’m going to have to do some research and figure out what style it is.”

She continued: “Did I really just buy a really bad knock off. Lesson learned if I did. I have no words.”

Beka didn’t have to wait long to figure out what she had, because her informed viewers knew exactly what it was.

It was, they told her, a Speedy 30. The model is still sold by Louis Vuitton for an incredible $1500.

Whether it was authentic or not, she loved styling it with her other thrift store items, including a Ralph Lauren shirt.

But there was a nagging feeling she needed to address.

“For $75, I don’t really care if it’s authentic at this point but I still want to know because it’s bugging me,” she said.

She used the Authentication Pro app to establish the provenance of this thrift store find.

“A professional authenticator authenticates the piece for you via the app,” she explained. It only took about ten minutes.”

To her amazement, her bargain was the real deal: “I have the certification to show it. It’s absolutely incredible,” she said, still hardly believing her good fortune.

One commenter wondered when they might ever find treasure like this.

“I mean why doesn’t my thrift shop ever have anything good like this?”

There was lots of advice from her viewers: “When it is authenticated, Louis Vuitton will replace hardware if it needs replaced and clean it up.”

Another person loved it: “The patina makes it even more amazing. This was made and worn before they were super ubiquitous.”
