‘Shein, are you joking?’ says woman who’s found the best Oh Polly dupe for £19 – but there’s a wardrobe malfunction

A WOMAN has taken to TikTok to rave about a Shein bargain which some reckon is a dupe of a posh Oh Polly outfit – however, there’s a wardrobe malfunction you need to be aware of.

Style lover Sinead Biddlecombe took to her social media page to show off the fabulous find that has since left people totally divided.

However, whilst she was totally obsessed with the ‘unreal’ fit, not everyone was convincedtiktok/@sineadbiddlecomb

Some pointed out to a major wardrobe malfunction – the garments were totally see-throughtiktok/@sineadbiddlecomb

According to the young fashionista, she was in the middle of filming of Shein shopping haul when she stumbled upon stunning figure-hugging two-piece.

The gorgeous outfit, which included a sparkly rhinestone crop top paired with a flattering maxi skirt of the same style, is part of the Shein BAE range and is currently on sale for under £20.

The show-stopper of a two-piece is perfect for a night-out with your friends – or a Valentine’s Day date with your loved one.

However, if you’re looking to replenish your wardrobe with these items, it’s worth noting that there isn’t an inclusive size range, as shoppers can snap it up in just XS, S, M and L.

Sinead, who’d ordered in the smallest size, was lost for words, describing the design as ”unreal”.

”I am mid-filming a Shein haul and what the f**k? I need to show you.

”You know what, I have nothing to say apart from the fact that this was £19.

”It’s so unreal. I actually am shook,” the fashionista told her followers in the video.

However, although Sinead, who had paired the two-piece with strappy heels, looked incredible, the response online was mixed.

Some, like her, were totally obsessed – and even reckoned it was a replica of a posh Oh Polly outfit.

One said: ”It’s giving Oh Polly dupe.”

”Is this not OhPolly?” someone else couldn’t see the difference.

An eagle-eyed fashionista had spotted the price tag of the high-end version, leaving others stunned.

”This is $120 [£95] on OhPolly.”

But not everyone will be racing to order the going-out outfit, as they reckoned the material looked ”cheap” – and there was also another major issue.

”It’s see-through,” one social media user pointed out.

”That looks really uncomfortable but it’s pretty,” someone else thought.

”That’s not fair though, let’s be honest. A 5p carrier bag would look stunning on you. Come on,” a TikTok user added.

Due to its low prices and relatively speedy delivery, the China-based fast fashion giant has become a go-to for many seeking trendy garments without forking out a fortune – but there’s shocking truth behind the hauls.

A few years ago, All4 uncovered the dark side of the retailer – with factory staff paid just £16.50 for a 17 hour day and fined three quarters of their wage for the smallest mistake.

Human rights journalist Timo Kullbruner told journalist Iman Amrani: “Shein’s model is problematic at both ends.

“We have a lot of people incentivised to buy stuff we don’t need and on the other side the problem is the production circles are so short and the pressure is so high that workers are exploited and work inhuman hours.”
