David Beckham took the perfect opportunity to dig into some delicious-looking Korean BBQ while on a trip to Seoul.

The retired football icon, 48, shared a detailed look at the vast spread of food he was enjoying for dinner, including pork belly.

Settling down for a mouth-watering banquet at the Golden Pig restaurant, David quipped that he still required a bib in order to tackle his meal.

Posting a smiling picture of himself in a disposable bib and with chopsticks poised in hand while seated at the table in front of dishes, he captioned it: ‘Still wearing a bib at 48.’

Alongside pork sizzling on the grill, the dad-of-four also shared pictures and clips of leeks and corn-on-the-cob cooking.

There were also snaps of fresh basil, kimchi and a nettle leaf the size of his palm for the garnishes.

David also shared pictures of meeting big crowds of fans in the South Korean capital, who were eagerly awaiting the opportunity to nab a selfie or autograph from the sporting legend.

‘So much fun yesterday,’ David wrote on photo with fans, adding on a video of him posing for and signing pictures: ‘Great to see so many of you in Seoul.’

The Manchester United star was also in Asia to mark the 30th anniversary of the Adidas’ Predator boots.

While checking out all the new designs in the brand’s flagship store, he came upon what he identified as his ‘first-ever’ Man U shirt.

‘Won the youth cup in this shirt. Great memories!’ he told camera while giving a tour around the shop.

Earlier this month, David showed off his culinary adventures in Spain, where he not only tucked into some delicious food at Botafumeiro, but had it fed to him by the restaurant manager – of course.

Juan Jesús Pérez Alonso took to Instagram with a video, showing him getting up close and personal with the star.

Scooping up a forkful of baby eel, he proceeded to hold it up to multimillionaire David’s mouth, who happily gobbled it up with a smile.

Ever the professional, he even held a napkin under Becks’ chin to avoid spillage.

The restaurateur then expertly wiped David’s face to clear away any mess, earning laughs from around the table.

David also showed off one of his own favourite dishes from the exclusive restaurant later too.

‘Soooooooooo good’, he added with, ‘Gracias’.

The ‘rare’ seafood in question is known as the world’s most expensive seafood, due to how dangerous the harvesting process is for fishermen.

The delicacy can set seafood lovers back up to £400 per lb or, if you want a portion of between 15 and 20, it’ll cost £80.
