It was only a matter of time but hero of The Traitors Diane Cardon has been offered a fizzy rosé brand deal.

Diane, 63, swiftly became ‘mother of the gays’ when she uttered the immortal line ‘But Ross is….’ referring to her secret son, who unbeknown to her competitors was also competing in the BBC series.

But just when we thought she couldn’t get camper, she was killed off by a glass of fizzy rosé after taking a sip from the ‘poisoned chalice’ during a particularly messy challenge.

She then lead a procession to her own funeral and was buried alive in front of her son. It was sensational.

Naturally, the UK has become a little bit obsessed with the retired drama teacher and now supermarket chain Lidl is keen to snap her up before any of their rivals get their first.

Since her exit from The Traitors, which eventually saw Harry Clark bag the £95,150 prize, Diane has been flooding Instagram with videos of herself back on the fizzy rosé.

It was inevitable (Picture: Lidl/X)

Lidl has now shared a photo of Diane’s face, peaking out from behind a bottle of her favourite tipple with the caption: ‘Hey [Ross], reckon your mum would be up for a cheeky collab?’

Diane is yet to respond but we have chased her down and will let you know as soon as we have an answer.

The cast of The Traitors reunited on Friday night after the nail-biting finale which saw evil genius Harry manage to fool all of his rivals, and win the jackpot which he spent on a boozy party for his friends and family.

Mollie Pearce came agonisingly close to catching Harry as a traitor, putting his name down on her board to give him the boot… until she scrubbed it away and kicked out faithful Jaz Singh instead.

The Traitors is available to stream on BBC iPlayer now.
