The Bangles stars were sent into a spin when Susanna Hoffs celebrated her milestone birthday in a new make-up free video.

The Eternal Flame singer has been in the spotlight for decades, after founding the iconic group in 1981, alongside Annette Zilinskas and sisters Debbi and Vicki Peterson.

Taking to Instagram earlier this month, the musician commemorated turning 65 in style, declaring herself ‘older and wiser’.

‘I’m 65. Yeah, time marches on, but it’s all good,’ she proudly told viewers in a brief clip. ‘No make-up.

‘It’s going to be okay, getting older is okay, it really is. Older and wiser.’

Alongside the footage, she simply wrote: ‘Older BUT wiser! #65.’

Unsurprisingly, fans and famous faces couldn’t get enough of the upload and flooded the comments section with praise for Susanna.

Michelle Pfeiffer declared: ’65 years of awesomeness.’

‘65 never looked so good,’ one cheered, as another agreed: ‘You look great!!!!!!!! Timeless, forever. Happy Birthday!’

‘You look amazing; beautiful smile, Bright soul,’ an Instagram user penned.

‘Some people age like fine wine.. you are one of them,’ a commenter enthused. ‘Looking absolutely gorgeous. And that smile.. all your talent.. have a great one.’

As Imelda May added: ‘You are so beautiful inside and out. Happy Birthday! XX.’

Susanna has been responsible for some of the biggest hits in music thanks to her stint in the Bangles – with their last album dropping in 2011.

Following their debut, the band went on to release Manic Monday, Walk Like An Egyptian, In Your Room and Hazy Shade of Winter among many, many others.

However, last year she dropped a huge bombshell when she revealed that one of their biggest songs, Eternal Flame, was ‘rejected’ by her bandmates.

Yes, seriously.

‘The band rejected that song, and I was bereft over it, I was mortified,’ she told the Mirror. ‘I had taken the cassette of Eternal Flame everywhere with me, asking people if I could show them the new song I’d just written.’

‘I was really excited about it, but then we had this band meeting about our third album, Everything, and it was rejected.

‘There were four members of the band and everybody got three songs on the album, it was very conscripted, almost anxiety inducing.

‘Then halfway through the making of album, our last record in the 80s, the producer said, “You know what, Sue? I think Eternal Flame should be on the record”.

‘And I’m like, “Yes! Please, please’”.

The 1989 track went on to hit the number one spot in nine countries, including the US, the UK, Australia, Ireland, Sweden and the Netherlands.

Atomic Kitten covered the hit in 2001 and it soared to the stop of the charts in the UK, beating Destiny’s Child’s Booylicious to second place.
