Justin Timberlake has teased his 90s boyband *NSYNC have new music on the way.

The 43-year-old singer just made his solo comeback with new single Selfish, and now he’s back in the studio with Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and JC Chasez.

The Bye Bye Bye hitmakers reunited last year for Better Place, which featured in Justin’s movie Trolls Band Together.

Now it appears they are recording some more new material.

Appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Justin teased: “We’ve been in the studio, so there may be a little something in the future, too.’

Justin also previously revealed he loves being in the studio and the creative process.

The Cry Me A River hitmaker called himself a ‘studio rat’ after ‘growing up in the industry and getting access to so much in the studio.’

He added: ‘I just loved being in there and I loved the creative process. And also as it pertains to harmonies, I spent some time with four other guys doing a lot of harmonies.’

While Justin hadn’t worked with *NSYNC for over 20 years, the SexyBack hitmaker said nothing had changed when they reunited for Better Place.

He said: ‘That was fun. It’s kind of crazy, like, there’s so much that just picks up right where it left off as far as the chemistry.’

Fellow member Lance recently admitted he had ‘no idea’ there would be such a demand for the group to make a comeback.

He told Entertainment Tonight: ‘It is beautiful, you know?

‘To be this age and the fans are still this excited, it is a dream come true.

‘I had no idea the fandom would go this nuts.

‘It was pretty emotional, the first time we all got in the studio together.

‘Back in March, we decided to, you know, get back together and have some fun and it was like no [time] had passed.

‘But there was there was a lot of tears. It was just tears of joy. And it was just a beautiful moment.

‘Like, time does so much and for us to finally be together, it just feels right.’

While fans would love nothing more than a tour, Lance said they have no solid plans yet to make this a reality.

Justin just released his solo song Selfish – the same name as Britney Spear’s 2011 song (Picture: Getty Images)

This comes after Britney Spear’s explosive memoir, The Woman In Me, dropped in October and made some accusations against Justin.

The Toxic hitmaker, 42, claimed Justin pushed her into getting an abortion when she fell pregnant during their high-profile noughties relationship.

She also described how, in the fall out of their break-up, while she was painted as a ‘harlot’ for ‘breaking the heart of America’s golden boy’ Justin came out with his reputation untarnished, despite having cheated ‘multiple’ times himself.

Shortly after their 2002 split, Justin released Cry Me A River in the wake, with many questioning whether the track was about their failed romance.

The video and lyrics showed a blonde woman being unfaithful, with the man refusing to listen to her apology.

‘I was comatose in Louisiana, and he was happily running around Hollywood,’ Britney wrote of the time.

Fans were fuming when Britney appeared to recently apologise to Justin in a social media post for things she wrote in the memoir.

Taking to social media, Britney said: ‘I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book.

‘If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry…

‘I also wanted to say I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song “Selfish” 🌹 It is soo good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so hard ???’

Justin’s song Selfish has the same name as Britney’s 2011 track, and her fans reacted by running her track up the charts.

A day after the release of Timberlake’s track, Britney’s Selfish hit number one on the iTunes Top Songs chart.
