Geordie Shore had a secret reality star that was edited out of an entire series, and now fans are determined to find her.
The show is currently airing its 24th series, but in 2011 they were filming their first abroad special – Magaluf Madness.
Charlotte, Holly, and Vicky were joined by Sophie Kassaei, Gaz Beadle, Greg Lake, James Tindale, and Jay Gardner. The eight of them got up to all sorts of mischief in the Spanish town – drinking, pulling, and arguing of course.
Well at least we thought it was just the crew of eight, but Holly, 31, has spoken about an extra person that viewers didn’t get to see.
‘I still can’t believe this happened,’ she told followers in her latest TikTok.

‘We all arrive at the villa, it’s amazing, we’re all having a good time and the doorbell goes, so we’re like “Oh my God, who on earth could this be?” We open the door and there’s this beautiful blonde girl stood there.
‘We’re like “Oh my god, this must be the new cast member” and then she started speaking and we realised she was Scottish.’
They found out her name was Marie, and filmed with her for five days.
Although she slotted in well, her hometown was an issue. Holly, who was born in North Yorkshire’s Thornaby, admitted the show often got criticised as the cast were from a variety of places including Middlesbrough, Sunderland, and South Shields so some people didn’t class them as full ‘Geordies’.

Holly believes it was decided that Scotland was a ‘bit of a stretch’ for the Geordie title, so the producers just cut out her scenes. The cast didn’t even find out until they settled down to watch the episodes.
‘When we watched the show Marie, this beautiful blonde new cast member had been cut out of every scene,’ she recalled.
‘I am not sure what conversations were had between her and the producer. We literally found out when we watched it.’
Although Holly praised the editing, she told viewers that you can notice Marie if you’re looking for her.

‘I just thought “Oh my God, that is so awful”. Imagine thinking that you were gonna be on a TV show, you told all your friends, and then they literally cut you out of every scene that they possibly could of, apart from your back in a few shots.
‘That was the last we saw or heard of her, and I really hope she’s doing well because that was honestly brutal,’ she added.
Holly finished the video by asking Marie to get in touch if she sees the video as she’d love to catch up.
The TV star isn’t the only one who wants to hear from Marie, fans are also desperate to track down the would-be star to find out how her life panned out.

TikTok users expressed their desire with passionate comments on Holly’s video. ‘Someone find Marie,’ wrote Amelia, which was liked 350 times and Caitlin insisted we must get ‘justice’ for her.
‘Petition to find her,’ wrote Dayna Louise.
Andrew Queens wrote: ‘That’s a shame lol. They should have made a sister show based on Glasgow for her.’ Well, it’s not too late – there’s clearly a demand for Marie content!
Marie has been mentioned by other castmates previously, as they’ve each got flashbacks to her brief tenure.

In her 2014 autobiography Nothing But The Truth, Vicky, 36, brutally put her exit down to her ‘personality’.
’What a lot a people don’t know is that a new cast member was brought in in the shape of a Scottish girl called Marie. She had long blonde hair, a great body and no personality. She was about as much fun as an earache,’ she wrote.
‘OMG just remembered when we filmed gshore in magaulf we actually had a new cast member but they edited her out I wanna see her again #Marie,’ tweeted Sophie, 34, in the same year. It’s what we all want Sophie.
We love how Marie’s two-episode non-speaking role in 2011 is still managing to incite conversation.
Geordie Shore is available to watch on Now.
