Batman: Arkham Knight developer Rocksteady Studios has finally released a new game, as Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League prepares for launch, featuring a much wider range of DC Comics characters than ever before.
The game has had a long and rocky road to release, with its most recent delay lasting a whole year and many still not convinced it’ll be worth the wait.
You’ll be able to find out for yourself soon, but in the meantime here’s everything you need to know about the game featuring evil Batman and a walking shark god.
When is Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League out?
Rocksteady’s new game is already open for pre-orders and launches on Friday, February 2, on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
If you bought the Deluxe Edition, however, you could start playing it starting from Tuesday, January 30 – assuming you didn’t suffer from a nasty bug that prevented access.
How much does Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League cost?
The Standard Edition costs £69.99 and the Deluxe Edition, which gives you early access to the game, costs £99.99.
The Deluxe Editions also includes one Battle Pass token for the game’s downloadable content, as well as Justice League outfits and weapon skins.
So far, no information has been released about the Battle Pass but it’s assumed it will be announced shortly and probably start at the same time as Season 1 in March.

Who are the heroes and villains in Kill The Justice League?
There are many familiar characters in Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, but the actual playable Suicide Squad members are Arkham Asylum inmates Captain Boomerang, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and King Shark.
Lots of other superheroes and villains make an appearance, such as Justice League members Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and Batman.
But that’s not all, The Riddler, Lex Luthor, Penguin, Ivy, Gizmo, and main antagonist Brainiac are also in the game, as well as a number of other secret characters and cameos.

What DLC will Kill The Justice League have?
As a live service game Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will rely on adding new downloadable content (DLC) to the game as it goes along.
This new content will be separated into seasons through the year, and will include new characters, worlds, and stories. The first season will start in March with The Joker as a playable character.
Several other characters have also been rumoured, both well-known and extremely obscure, but the leaks around the game have proven very unreliable so far, so it’s best not to assume any of them are correct.
What is Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League?
Kill The Justice League is a third person shooter set five years after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight, but takes place in Metropolis and not Gotham City.
The premise of the game is very much in the name: you’re part of the Suicide Squad tasked with killing the Justice League. The Justice League has been brainwashed by Brainiac, and it’s your job to stop his plans for world domination.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League can be played on your own but it also allows for up to four people to play the whole game in online co-op.
