Chelsea Green was furious she got left in the dark over a major WWE Royal Rumble surprise.
The former tag team champion worked with Jordynne Grace during her own time in TNA Wrestling, and she only found out her friend was part of the match when she arrived for rehearsals.
Seeing the current TNA Knockouts Champion in the match over the weekend was a massive shock for fans around the world, and her fellow wrestlers were similarly stunned.
‘I saw Chelsea Green, who was really mad that I didn’t tell her. She came up and she hit me,’ she admitted.
‘She was like, “Someone just texted me and said that you’re here and I didn’t believe him but here you are.” And she was really upset that I didn’t tell her but I was like, “Come on, it’s better that I’m here as a surprise.”‘
She even kept her appearance a secret from Naomi, who went by her real name Trinity during her recent stint in TNA Wrestling which saw her lose the Knockouts Title to Jordynne.

Reflecting on their reunion, she added to Fightful: ‘I also didn’t tell Trinity, which was the funniest thing.
‘All week, I’m texting her and I’m like, “Yeah, I’m really excited to see you in the Rumble blah blah blah,” but what she didn’t know was I was going to be standing across the ring seeing her.’
Even Jordynne herself was stunned by the way things panned out, and she struggled to believe it was actually on the cards when TNA Wrestling president Scott D’Amore called with the news.

‘Honestly, when he said it, I was like, “Well, maybe this is just an idea that they have and it’s not for real. Maybe they are just like testing the waters a little bit,”‘ she confessed.
‘Honestly, I did not think it was going to happen until I got my actual flight to Orlando to go to the PC. That was when everything started to feel real.’
Fans were amazed to see her step into the match two years after then-Knockouts Champion Mickie James – who was a former five-time champion in WWE – appeared in the Rumble.
Although Jordynne insisted she has ‘no personal insight’, she is optimistic for more crossovers between TNA and WWE in the future.
‘I have a very good gut feeling. I feel like it’s a win-win for everybody. There is nothing bad that can come from a relationship between TNA and WWE,’ she said.
‘TNA gets exposure and ability to represent their brand. WWE gets to do something awesome for the wrestling community.’
