‘It’s way too boobalicious for a wedding,’ people tear into guest’s ‘attention-grabbing’ and ‘inappropriate’ dress

BUYING a new dress for every wedding you attend can become an expensive venture when all your friends start tying the knot.

One woman repurposed a look she already had but people claimed the style was not appropriate for the occasion.

A Reddit user showed her followers the dress she planned to wear to a wedding but was told it was ‘too boobalicious’Reddit/Myneckmyguac

In a Reddit post, the wedding guest (@myneckmyguac) offered some context to the situation.

“So, I was originally planning on buying a new dress for a friend’s wedding this summer but just got this one for my 30th this past weekend,” she explained.

“I actually think it’s a nice enough dress to wear again for this wedding, my only worry is is it too short or too over the top?”

The poster included some pictures of her modeling the short blue dress.

“Sharing a few pics of me in the dress this past weekend so length and fit are clear,” she explained.

The sleeveless dress reached just below her knee and featured a ruched detail at the front.

She informed readers that she was planning to wear the look unless a specific dress code was set.

“No specific dress code as of yet, I will of course buy something else if the color becomes inappropriate for some reason,” she wrote.

“It’s a U.K. wedding this July and my fiancé is in the bridal party.”

Reddit users shared their thoughts on the look in the comments section.

“You look great but it’s way too boobalicious for a wedding in my opinion,” wrote one reader.

“Pretty dress but wouldn’t be appropriate for a wedding, too attention-grabbing and party vibes,” said another person.

“This color is great but the vibe is not wedding-appropriate. Too much attention for all the wrong reasons,” commented a third Reddit user.

“No, sorry, this is far too much cleavage, and this is coming from someone with bigger breasts than you,” wrote another person.

“It’s also pretty attention-grabbing, which is awesome for your 30th birthday, but not awesome for someone else’s wedding,” they added.
