Love Island stars break up after confrontation with ghost of grandad-Josie Copson-Entertainment – Metro

Love Island: All Stars aired a pretty crazy breakup between Casey O’Gorman and Georgia Harrison on the most recent episode.

When Casey, 27, was flung into the South Africa villa Georgia, 29, was pretty chuffed. The pair share a romantic history so she was hopeful that they may be able to reignite their connection.

However, Casey pretty much ignored Georgia, who has shared ambitions to become an MP, and instead made the questionable decision to pull his best friend Tom Clare’s love interest Molly Smith.

After 24 hours in the villa, the pair finally sat down for a chat to get it all out, and Casey told Georgia why he ‘ghosted’ her and the reason ironically involved a ghost.

The dumping went in a completely unexpected direction that viewers couldn’t believe, and honestly, we’re going to need 3-5 business days to process it ourselves.

‘You know me, I’m not really that much of a spiritual person,’ he began.

Georgia unaware of where it was leading insisted that she never pushed her beliefs on him and bragged that other people in the villa had enjoyed meditating with her.

Casey told Georgia that it was actually because of a conversation they had while she was on a spiritual retreat.

‘You mentioned my grandad and stuff like that, and it really, like, threw me off. You started to say that you saw my dead grandad and that he wishes me well. And I was like, this is just way too much for him,’ he explained.

Georgia began to justify herself: ‘No, I was saying that when I was meditating, I got an experience where I felt I was sensing things from the other side and that people are still around. I was just feeling really connected.

‘I was feeling really guided, and I wanted to share that with you and obviously maybe I shouldn’t have.’ Oh isn’t hindsight a wonderful thing?

It turns out that Georgia was pre-warned to not use her phone at the time but decided to ignore advice.

‘They do say when you’re on the retreats you’re not meant to call anyone,’ she told Casey who let out a little laugh.

Although Georgia’s claimed sighting of someone who’s passed away spelt the end of their romance, they were able to hug it out and agree to be friends.

The saddest part about this whole thing is Georgia has decided that she won’t be wearing any ‘spiritual clothing’ for the next week of the ITV show. Did she intend to wear a dress made entirely of crystals? We need to see what she packed!

The clip was shared on the official Love Island TikTok and viewers expressed their love for the bizarre conversation.

‘I’ve never cracked up so much at Love Island,’ wrote account Inees and 17.3k hit the like button signalling they were in agreement.

Viewer Sinead Murphy said: ‘This will live rent-free in my head forever. I’m still laughing.’ Same here!

Eric described it as the ‘funniest thing I’ve ever watched in my life’ and Lewis Greig just couldn’t believe it was real.

If there’s anything that could convince viewers to tune back in after dwindling ratings, surely this is it.

Hopefully, both Georgia and Casey find their match who understands and appreciates their stance on all things spiritual.
