Robbie Williams is loving Mr Potato Head (instead).

The Angels rocker, 49, just transformed into the famous Pixar character alongside his wife Ayda Field, who was – of course – Mrs Potato Head.

Ayda, 44, posted a video of them both dancing around to Chic’s Le Freak dressed in full-body Mr and Mrs Potato Head costumes.

The couple wore the potato heads like you would a vest, as the recognisable orange faces peered out from their fronts, with massive googly eyes, noses, and mouths encapsulating the Toy Story characters perfectly.

Robbie and Ayda didn’t wear the full body suits just for a bit of February fun, but for their youngest Beau’s 4th birthday party, which had the Disney film as its theme.

On top of the outfits – which we desperately hope are homemade – the couple went to a lot of effort for their youngest, as they danced in front of a huge birthday balloon display surrounding a massive 4 next to the word Beau.

Ayda wore some grey joggers and a jumper underneath the costume and topped the look off with a yellow cap sporting three bold daisies on the front.

Meanwhile, fans could be forgiven for thinking Robbie forgot his trousers underneath the Mr Potato Head look, but we suspect there might be shorts somewhere.

He also wore a cap and a grey T-shirt, as he shuffled along to the song in the sped-up footage, posted on Ayda’s social media.

The doting mum captioned the post with: ‘What happens when Beau has a Toy Story themed 4th Birthday party!’

The family set up a long dining table jam-packed with Toy Story character centerpieces including Woddy and Buzz Lightyear, and the cake was a two-tier ode to the latter.

Married for 13 years, Robbie and TV star Ayda share four children – Teddy, 11, Charlie, nine, Coco, five, and Beau, four – who they tend to keep well out of the spotlight.

Little Teddy could be seen horizontal in a ball pit as Ayda captioned the post: ‘Teddy aka Woody is officially toy-ed out.’

Fans got a rare glimpse into the Rock DJ hitmaker’s personal life through his self-titled documentary, which was released on Netflix in November.

While reclining on his bed wearing underwear, Robbie talked to the cameras about his memories while watching old footage of himself for the first time.

The film’s director, Joe Pearlman, told Metro.co.uk he didn’t question the Angel singer’s choice of attire and simply told him to wear what felt comfortable for the 25-day shoot.

In the tell-all film Robbie opened up about his battle with depression, substance abuse, and the early days of fame in Take That.

At a few sweet moments in the documentary, his children would enter the room while filming, and he would chat with them about what he was doing.

Robbie and Days of Our Lives actress Ayda met in 2006 while he was addicted to prescription medication, and sleeping with his drug dealer.

They went on a first date and Robbie promptly stood the former X Factor judge up, but luckily she forgave him and after a few more bumps they were a solid couple.

The family live in a multi-million-pound mansion in the Holland Park area of Kensington not far from Hyde Park – which reportedly cost an eye-watering £17.5 million.

In April, Robbie and Ayda revealed they rarely have sex, but are still intimate with one another.

Singer Robbie explained that his libido dropped after he stopped taking testosterone to treat his depression.

He said: ‘Everyone knows there is no sex after marriage. That’s just the way it is. I was on testosterone for a while but, because I’m an addict, that had to stop.

‘The sex we had when I was on testosterone was incredible; it was all the time. We were insatiable. It goes to show how into each other we really are, though, because when I was on it, we couldn’t take our hands off each other,’ he told The Sun in a joint interview with his wife.
