Saltburn actor Jacob Elordi was involved in an ‘altercation’ outside an Australian hotel, it has been reported.

The Euphoria and Kissing Booth actor, 26, was reportedly socialising at the Clovelly Hotel in Sydney for several hours before getting into the alleged argument with KIIS FM radio employee Joshua Fox.

The TikTokker was said to have approached Elordi for comment in front of the venue. It is not clear whether he was working for KIIS FM at the time.

Elordi reportedly took offence at one of his questions, as reported in The Daily Telegraph, Australia, and an altercation broke out at around 3.30pm on Saturday.

Police told Metro.co.uk they were investigating after a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

‘Inquiries into the incident are continuing,’ the police said, adding the man – who they took a statement of – did not sustain any injuries. No charges had been laid.

Elordi found overnight global fame when he appeared on disturbing, viral film Saltburn alongside Barry Keoghan, Rosamund Pike, Richard E Grant and Carey Mulligan.

He plays aristocratic Oxford student Felix Catton, who becomes the subject of Oliver Quick’s (Barry Keoghan) obsession, and chaos ensues.

The role earnt him a BAFTA nomination for supporting actor, taking his career to new heights after he portrayed Nate in Euphoria.
