Dan Douglas, the creator behind Duke Nukem 3D mod Duke Smoochem, has offered the chance to personally dismantle the spa pool of Captain Tom’s daughter.

After previously depicting Labour leader Keir Starmer killing an alpaca, as well as George Osborne’s wedding, mod creator Dan Douglas has now tackled another UK event from the headlines.

This time around he’s set his sights on Captain Sir Tom Moore’s daughter – who had an unauthorised spa building recently demolished, which they claim was in honour of her late father’s fundraising efforts.

The spa’s destruction in Bedfordshire has been recreated in the mod, where Duke Nukem climbs into a digger and repeatedly smacks into the building.

In a nod to Hannah Ingram-Moore’s defence, a woman character runs out, yelling: ‘Stop! Stop! It’s a registered charity!’ Duke then strolls into the building, only to find a locked safe stuffed with bars of gold.

This is the latest slice of British life to be targeted by Duke Smoochem, with past clips covering Queen Elizabeth II’s death and the World Snooker Championship.

Speaking about his reasons for creating the mod in an interview with The Guardian, Douglas said: ‘I guess I see Duke Smoochem as both a documentation of, and rebellion against, an increasingly absurd country, packaged as nostalgia.

‘It’s probably exactly what 13-year-old-me would have created had social media been around in 1996.’
