Doctor Who legend Jodie Whittaker and This Morning presenter Dermot O’Leary are leading a mega cast for The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer.

The charity spin-off of the beloved Channel 4 baking show returns again with a fresh set of famous faces hoping to impress Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith with their culinary skills.

20 stars from the worlds of music, acting, comedy and TV will be heading to the famous tent and will be tasked with completing signature, technical, and showstopper challenges in a bid to be crowned Star Baker.

Joining Jodie and Dermot are The Last Leg presenter Adam Hills, EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, comedian and author David O’Doherty and Taskmaster contestant Fern O’Brady.

Radio One presenter Greg James, Heartstopper actor Joe Locke, Leigh Francis aka Keith Lemon, Spice Girl Mel B, satirist Munya Chawawa and Big Brother presenter Oti Mabuse will also be whipping up baked delights.

Completing the line-up are popster Paloma Faith, The Reverend Richard Coles, comedian Rhod Gilbert, broadcaster Sara Cox, former MIC star Spencer Matthews, comedian Suzi Ruffell, and presenter and documentary filmmaker Yinka Bokinni.

The five Celebrity Bake Off episodes will be presented by Alison Hammond, who recently joined the programme after Matt Lucas’ departure, and Noel Fielding.

Alison, who previously appeared on the celeb version of the show, said: ‘“I’m totally in awe of this year’s celebrity bakers, all putting their baking skills, or in some cases lack of, under nationwide scrutiny to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer.

‘And as someone who proved to be something of a baking genius when I baked in the tent a few years ago, I was delighted to be able to show them the ropes and where the oven doors were. On your mark, get set, Bake for Stand Up To Cancer.’

Dame Prue, meanwhile, teased that the show will be a ‘delicious dose of fun, sprinkled with some unforgettable baking moments.’

‘Brace yourself for a delectable lineup of bakers, each with their own unique flair in the kitchen – some are, admittedly, a bit more flour-savvy than others,’ she added.

Previous Celebrity Bake Off line-ups have included the likes of Friends legend David Schwimmer, Towie queen Gemma Collins and Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson.
