Lorraine viewers have slammed an interview in which Leo Woodall appeared like he ‘didn’t want to be there’.
On Tuesday’s episode of the ITV breakfast programme, the talk show host spoke to The White Lotus star Leo, 27, who is about to appear in the small screen adaptation of David Nicholl’s 2009 novel One Day.
However, when it came time to tune into their chat, people were left wanting more.
When asking about his latest project, Lorraine posed a question, but after getting limited responses a few times, she kept jumping in to ask more.
A few times Leo simply responded with: ‘Yeah.’
Watching on, many viewers thought the exchange was incredibly awkward.

‘Does he want to be here?’ user Z posted on X.
‘Is Lorraine going to let Leo Woodall get a word in? He literally said nothing, and she just rambled at him,’ Lisa shared.
She added: ‘It was awful. Poor lad couldn’t finish a sentence.’
‘Is he hungover? This is the most excessively relaxed interview I’ve ever seen on,’ account MostlyStupid commented.

Not holding back, Louise Naylor said: ‘I know it’s called the Lorraine show, and he wasn’t particularly chatty, but she really needs some training on interviewing skills. No point in having guests on when she talks more than them, most of it nonsense!’
However, others pointed out that Leo didn’t seem to be giving much when asked questions.
‘Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He really doesn’t wanna be there!’ Paul posted.
While this interview left some viewers wincing, Leo recently left people ‘in pain’ for another reason.

After the first-look images for One Day were released, Netflix fans said they were concerned they would struggle ‘to cope emotionally’ when it came time to tune in.
Like the 2011 movie starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess, One Day explores the relationship between student Dexter Mayhew and Emma Morley on the same day every year for the next two decades.
Starring alongside Leo is This Is Going To Hurt star Ambika Mod, with fans sharing that knowing how the love story would play out already has them on edge.
One person commented they didn’t think their ‘heart could take it’ while another said they ‘can’t handle it a second time’.
One Day is streaming on Netflix from February 8. Lorraine airs weekdays from 9am on ITV1.
