‘I think it is way too deep of a V for a wedding, even with a flat chest,’ people slate guest’s low-cut dress

A WEDDING guest has sought the opinion of the internet over a particularly low cut dress.

Many critics of the style pointed out an ultra deep V-neck, which may be considered inappropriate for the ceremony.

Redditor F**kloves**thurts posted pictures of the dress in question on the social media platform.

First, she shared photos of the dress in navy blue and in orange, worn by the models themselves.

“Dressy casual for very flat chest?” she captioned the pictures.

The pieces were shared on the Subreddit “Wedding Attire Approval” — a message board to seek advice from others on clothes to wear to a wedding.

Several people chimed in on the thread, giving their two cents on the dress.

“This is definitely cocktail, which isn’t an issue if you’re OK being overdressed a bit,” one Redditor wrote.

“In many places people tend to interpret dress codes more casual, so just know your audience.

“I don’t have a problem with the deep V if you’re confident enough to wear it and think it’s appropriate for the audience.

“For example, I wouldn’t wear this to a wedding in a mass or a temple; would wear this to a wedding of close friends who are into fashion.

“For your information — you may need to tape the top regardless of your chest size as with that style if you bend, you’re exposed,” the Redditor added.

The wedding guest posted a picture of herself wearing a similar dress to the pictured orange-colored one.

“So I have this dress already and was hoping to use it without getting a new one,” she wrote.

“It doesn’t go as deep on my chest. Is this still too much? As far as the crowd, it’s definitely a fancier group.”

Yet another Redditor added their opinion on the look, saying a flat chest doesn’t change the appropriateness of the style.

“I feel like this might be too much for dressy casual with both the tulle and the deep V-neck. Also, I think the V is too deep, even for a flat chested person in my opinion,” they commented.
