‘That’s genius’ Vinted fans are saying as woman shows off the ‘smart’ way her parcel arrives – & no one would ‘steal it’
A MUM has left people open-mouthed and seriously impressed after sharing the rather unique packaging her Vinted parcel arrived in.
Over the years, much like eBay and Depop, Vinted has become all the rage for bargain-hunting fashionistas who are on the lookout for pre-loved wardrobe items to slash the costs – or simply find something vintage.

The popular platform is also where one stylish mum, Magenta, spotted a pair of trendy sunnies by the posh brand Ray-Ban.
However, after ordering the goods, nothing could’ve prepared the parent for the special packaging the sunglasses were delivered in.
Instead of a carboard box or regular posting parcels, the accessory arrived… wrapped in a nappy.
Stunned by the discovery, Magenta took to TikTok to show off the goods, left in hysterics by the shipping method.
But although the amazed shopper has a kid, unfortunately, the baby essentials won’t be of any use, Magenta added.
”Pros – I gained 2 size 3 nappies… Cons – My child isn’t in size 3,” she chuckled in the caption of the clip.

”Can’t believe my parcel was wrapped like this, good idea though, kept them safe,” noted the mum, adding she was ”selling” the two nappies.
Although Magenta ”felt bad” and didn’t mention this in the review on the seller’s page, she agreed that the extra soft nappy ”protected the glasses so well”.
Since being posted on the platform, where Magenta posts under the username @magentaalee, the video has taken the internet by storm, winning over 300k views in less than 24 hours.
Hundreds raced to comments in stitches, where many fashionistas also shared their experience with buying on Vinted.
One person claimed: ”I ordered a collection of silver rings and they came in a Fruit Shoot bottle.”
Someone else chimed in: ”I once had a jacket wrapped in a cereal box then put in a postage bag.”
”Mine came in an open Amazon box with blue cling film around it instead of parcel tape,” a style lover penned.
”My friend ordered bedding and it turned up in a McDonald’s paper bag,” a social media user wrote.
Several people also praised the seller’s unique approach to packaging, as it was deemed ”genius”.
”[I] Suppose at least if someone tried to open it they’d just think it was nappies and wouldn’t steal it,” one pointed out.
