Beyoncé fans have been left in shock after a waxwork museum ‘messed up’ her face.

Madame Tussauds in Blackpool has expanded its wax figure collection, which already includes the likes of Lewis Capaldi and Angelina Jolie, with none other than Queen Bey, 42.

But the new model, which will be available at the major tourist attraction from Saturday (February 11), has caused a stir on the internet as people failed to see the similarity to the Renaissance singer.

‘They can never get Beyonce’s wax figure right,’ lamented Siah on X after viewing the first look at the waxwork.

Agreeing, Lisa fumed: ‘What’s with wax figure museums and messing up Beyoncé’s face every single time?’

‘This is what happens when you order your Beyoncé wax figures from Temu,’ Justin Ballard joked, referring to the budget online Chinese marketplace.

Many complained that the waxwork didn’t look anything like the singer (Picture: Instagram)

Many other Beyoncé fans also claimed the figure bore more of a resemblance to The King of Queens actress Leah Remini, 53.

However, some people on X gave the waxwork the thumbs up with Disiaa remarking: ‘Idk what y’all seeing bc it be some waxes that be way far off. But looking at this I automatically thought it was Beyonce.’

It’s not the first time a waxwork of the Lemonade singer has sparked backlash.

In 2017, people were left baffled after Madame Tussauds in New York City unveiled a model of Beyoncé, with many saying it looked more like Julia Stiles.

Elsewhere, the San Francisco Bey, dressed in her iconic orange Crazy In Love mini, may have the legs of the Destiny’s Child frontwoman but the face? Not so much.

One of the worst to date, however, has to be the effort from a Canadian waxwork museum, which was so bizarrely unlike Beyoncé that they had to pin a nametag reading ‘Beyonce Knowles’ on her dress to identify her.

In 2019, though, Beyoncé was finally vindicated with a good waxwork in honour of her Homecoming tour.

Perhaps Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas succeeded as artists spent more than 500 hours bringing her iconic Beychella outfit to life.

Earlier this week, Beyoncé attended the Grammy Awards during which she hilariously tried to hide under her cowgirl hat to avoid getting involved in a dance-off with Dua Lipa.

She may have been keen to avoid the spotlight but her husband Jay Z refused to let that happen.

During his acceptance speech for the Dr Dre global impact award, the Hard Knock Life rapper delivered a blistering rant calling out the Grammys for never awarding Beyoncé album of the year despite her 32 gongs.
