Kenya Moore could soon be swapping Atlanta for the stunning Scottish countryside if she has her way.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta icon revealed that she was previously in talks to appear on the Traitors US, and has been watching her fellow Bravo castmembers – including Phaedra Parks and Sheree Whitfield – on the second season.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk ahead of the release of her latest project, Abducted Off the Street: The Carlesha Gaither Story, the 53-year-old declared that she would ‘absolutely’ take part in an upcoming series.

Well, luckily for her, season three has officially been confirmed.

When asked if she would be keen to follow in the footsteps of her RHOA colleagues – after her current Lifetime efforts – she told us: ‘I was in conversation with [the show] before, but I’m not sure what ended up happening.

‘I have been watching it and it is fantastic TV. It is absolutely in-f**king-credible. It’s insane.

‘It is so good. Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes, I would absolutely do it.’

Someone get Alan Cumming on the phone immediately.

Kenya is no stranger to the spotlight, having competed in Miss Universe, graced countless magazine covers and appeared in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, the Jamie Foxx Show, Waiting To Exhale, Senseless and Martin to name a few.

She has also taken her talents to Lifetime for Abducted Off the Street, starring as worried mother Keisha Gaither, who stops at nothing to get her abducted daughter back.

The film, based on a true story, follows the ‘abduction of a Philadelphia nurse’s aide at the hands of a homicidal predator, and reveals how she fought to survive and created a trail that would ultimately lead to her rescue.’

In the flick, she led the way alongside a cast including Riele Downs, Sam Asante, Aiden Devine and Diana Johnstone.

As we’re very used to seeing Kenya on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, this is a huge step for the beauty mogul.

Although we’re still waiting for official news on all things Bravo ahead of season 16 – other than Kandi Burruss’ announcement that she will be stepping back – the actress teased we’ll have answers ‘soon enough’.

Fans have also been vocal about changes they want to take place after less than stellar reviews of recent episodes, and Kenya -who has been in the line-up since 2012 – shared that she agreed with the gripes.

‘Change is needed sometimes. Last season, the fans weren’t happy, I have been very vocal that I wasn’t happy with people coming on and ruining the chemistry of the show,’ she continued. ‘What the show was about is showing your authentic life.

‘One thing about Bravo is that they definitely listen to the fans, for the most part. I think that they definitely will not disappoint with sweet 16 and Real Housewives of Atlanta.

‘I know the fans have been very vocal, I love the fact that they’re rooting for me. My story has not come full circle, I have a lot more story to tell and experiences, and you seeing this next new chapter of my life. So we’ll see.’

When asked about what changes she thinks should occur, and whether any of her castmates should get the chop – before Kandi confirmed her exit – Kenya explained: ‘A material change needs to happen, but the network has made that clear, other cast members have made that clear.

‘Who do I think should keep a peach, or not keep a peach? I mean, obviously, I’m going to start with myself and Kandi. I think that we’re fan favorites, sometimes you need anchors of a show. We play that role very well of being an anchor, and fan favorites, so I don’t want to take away something that fans really would want.

‘Oh, my God, that is a shady question. I feel like I’m pretty honest and upfront … It’s obvious who the first person I would chop [is], I think that’s pretty obvious…’

Kenya shared that she and Kandi Burruss should remain in the line-up (Picture: Getty)

Without naming any names of who should be stripped of their peach, she added: ‘I want to be clear, I have always been pro Real Housewives of Atlanta. I’ve always said – even when I didn’t get along with Nene [Leakes] at times, most of the time – I never once said she didn’t belong on the show, or she wasn’t an asset to the show.

‘As much as I didn’t get along with Porsha [Williams] or Phaedra, I’ve never once said they should not have a spot on the show. That should mean a lot. I’m not a hater. What is good for the show, that is always where I have operated from.

‘So, with that said, some people from the past, maybe one or two, should come knocking on the door. At least three girls – three to four girls – might need to go from last season. It would be nice if we had more peaches, seven or eight peaches, like some of the other franchises.’

Abducted Off the Streets: The Carlesha Gaither Story will premiere on Lifetime on February 10
