The department store’s High Waisted Smart Wide Leg Jeans have received rave reviews from “curvy” shoppers and those with “big hips”.
The £39.50 denim is part of the M&S Collection range and comes in two hues: indigo mix, which is a dark blue, and black.
They’re available in three lengths of short, regular and long, and go up to a size 24.
Self-styled “curvy” women have dubbed the jeans “life savers”, with one saying “they hug in all the right places”.
“These actually go over my size 24 bum and don’t finish half way up at the back like many high-waisted trousers,” one buyer said.
“They’re comfortable and smart.”
A size 14 shopper who’s 5 foot 3 inches said the short length “fits like a glove”.
“I bought a pair of these on impulse in-store in a 14 Short,” she said.
“I have been waiting for a pair of smart wide or flare leg winter jeans in a better quality darker denim for a very long time.
“All the ones I’ve seen previously were either too long in the leg if they were high waisted or if they were decent denim, didn’t come in a shorter length or a deeper indigo.
“These fit me like a glove.
“I’m curvy, 5 foot 3 inches and may get a second pair at a later date.”
Another buyer said they’re the perfect fit for “big hips”.
