The TV star is no stranger to haunting experiences of course, having fronted Most Haunted as well as Ghosthunting With…
And now, the 55-year-old is retelling her experiences in a new book, starting with her very first, which involved a ghost’s pair of legs.
‘It wasn’t a full ghost, it was a pair of legs, just a pair of legs!’
She went on to explain what we expect to be the number one rule of paranormal hunters: ‘Never go to the loo alone.’
‘I’ll even leave the door open to the cubicle, I don’t care who watches me, you’re not leaving me on my own!’

Terrifying! (Picture: ITV)
Yvette had been visiting Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, with two other people when the spooky incident occurred, and while their reactions were caught on camera, the ghost itself wasn;t.
She said: ‘Three of us were walking down the corridor and we all stopped because coming up the main staircase were a pair of legs with over-the-knee leather boots, walking almost in slow motion up the stairs.
‘All three of us saw it at the same time, turned and ran.’
As Yvette recalled the incident, an image showed the pair of mysterious boots climbing up the staircase and while she turned around to run the other way, it was unclear whether they followed to chase.

She went on to explain that there was no footage of the ghost because they didn’t have cameras with them in the toilets.
‘It was really fascinating,’ she revealed.
We’re not quite sure that’s the word we’d use…
Yvette previously told Metro.co.uk about her scariest moment while filming Most Haunted, saying: ‘I’ve had so many but once we did an investigation into a terraced house in Leeds. A carving knife went missing the night we were there and we found it embedded in a cushion in the dark.
‘We felt objects being thrown towards us – there was no breeze at all in the house – and then we heard the sounds of someone running. We used electronic voice-recording devices and heard a demonic voice telling us to get out.
‘It turned out that the house was built over the ruins of a monastery. The nasty entity that had plagued this house was a monk – but not a nice one.’
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
