One Drake fan left his concert in Nashville $100,000 richer thanks to the star’s incredible act of generosity.

Drake has made plenty of headlines recently after an X-rated video started doing the rounds on X, with social media users believing it to be him and prompting him to joke about it on stage.

Indeed, the One Dance hitmaker is currently on the road once again, this time for a string of performances with J. Cole following a brief hiatus.

And despite the holiday season being well and truly over, it seems the Hotline Bling hitmaker is still in a giving mood.

Champagne Papi, 37, was on stage in the US on Wednesday night (February 7) when he halted the show to shout out a fan named Lauren Schwallier.

That same day, the 33-year-old had spent five hours at Vanderbilt University Medical Centre for scans after being diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2022.

She recently completed her chemotherapy before seeing Drake live, which made it all the more special when he decided to gift her a huge amount of money earlier this week.

After performing God’s Plan, Drake noticed her sign in the crowd with the exciting news about finishing treatment.

A video has since circulated online of the precious interaction, in which Drake begins by pleading with the camera operators to show Lauren’s ‘just finished chemo’ banner on the screen.

As fans shone their torches, he said: ‘I see everybody pointing to this sign and I can’t miss it.

‘So, bring her to the front real quick, ’cause this is an important moment.’

‘Listen, forget Drake, forget anybody else in this building right now; that’s a true soldier right there. Y’all better make some motherf***ing noise,’ he praised, urging the audience to cheer.

Drake continued: ‘I hope my manager doesn’t kill me because I’ve never really done this much, but I want you to cash this in at the end of the night and we’re gonna give you $100,000 for being you.’

The packed venue went wild as Drake displayed Lauren the cheque for $100k (£79,192).

‘I love you and I wish you the best,’ the rapper concluded.

‘Nashville, make some noise for her one more time.’

Speaking after the gig, Lauren told The Tennessean: ‘One thing led to another and I was at the front of the stage and Drake blew me a kiss and told me that he loved me!

‘That’s all I was focused on… and then just, like, the money on top of it is just insane.’

Lauren admitted she’s ‘still in shock’ after the moment went viral.

The devout fan is now in communication with Drake’s team and is said to be receiving details of her big-money gift next week.

Lauren – who is also a mum – is now awaiting her scan results to find out if she is cancer-free.
