Billie Piper ‘splits from boyfriend Johnny Lloyd’ after 8 years-Emily Bashforth-Entertainment – Metro

Billie Piper has split from Johnny Lloyd after eight years together, according to reports.

The Doctor Who actress, 41, and singer, 38, share five-year-old daughter, Tallulah.

Sadly, their relationship is said to have ended after the Covid-19 lockdown took a toll.

Sources described the end of their romance as ‘very sad’, but insisted the pair are ‘better off apart.’

An insider told The Sun on Sunday that Billie and Johnny parted ways last year.

They added: ‘It’s obviously very sad that the couple have gone their separate ways.

‘But the relationship ran its course and they decided they would be better off apart.’

They also said: ‘Like many couples, lockdown was quite tough for them, so they have had time to really think about what they want their future to look like.’

Billie and Johnny will reportedly ‘always treasure the time they had together and have many happy memories.’

‘Now they are concentrating on co-parenting their daughter and their separate careers,’ the source added.

Following their split, it’s believed Johnny has ‘thrown himself into music again’ while Billie focuses on her acting, with her career going from ‘strength to strength’.

‘Everyone is being very mature about it and making the transition as smooth as possible.’

Just last week, Billie put in a solo appearance at The Broadcast Awards in London following a preview of her new Netflix movie, Scoop.

In the flick, Billie plays BBC producer Sam McAlister who famously booked Prince Andrew’s Newsnight interview.

Meanwhile, Johnny is touring the country with his bandmates after a recent songwriting trip to Los Angeles.

Before dating Johnny, I Hate Suzie star Billie was married to DJ Chris Evans, 57, from 2001 until 2007.

Then from 2007 until 2016, she was married to divisive actor-turned-political activist Laurence Fox, 45, with whom she has two sons.

In July 2018, it was confirmed that Billie was expecting her third child – her first with the rocker – and she gave birth the following January.

A source told The Mirror at the time: ‘Billie and Johnny are delighted. They can’t wait to welcome the new addition to their family.’

Billie has previously said it would be her ‘dream’ to have more children.

Johnny has also spoken about their low-key romance on the odd occasion.

Speaking to Event magazine, he said: ‘She’s made my life better in so many ways and I just feel I now know who I am, I know what I can do, I know where I want to be. And that’s with her.’
