On her website, The Style Crone, she wrote that creating her bold outfits was her form of ‘meditation’ and helped to express her sense of self in an intensely stressful environment.

Often her fashion would be assembled from preloved items sourced from estate sales or vintage shop, where she’d find one of kind pieces to add to her wardrobe.

It was during on these trips that she fell in love with leopard print, telling fans on Tiktok: “My love for leopard print began in the 70s when I began frequenting estate sales.”

Even decades on, you can still find this eighty-something dress in leopard print jumpsuits which flow around her svelte frame.

Of course, an outfit wouldn’t be complete without accessories and Judith added heavy gold chains, a vintage Chanel handbag and her favourite item of all: the hat.

After co-owning a hat shop briefly in the 80s, she has amassed an impressive collection with small hat regularly being added to her outfits.

In fact, the fashionista even wore a tall black hat with as she explored New York City in a leopard print maxi dress and leather look opera glovers.

“80 is hella older and I’m proud of it,” she explained, adding: “For example, when I buy something I think how many times am I going to wear that so every piece has to be a showstopper.”

Whilst she’s always had a love of fashion, her love of style took on even more significance after the loss of her husband Nelson in 2011.

Not long after his death, she started blogging and chronicling her looks as a way to help her through her grief.

The 80-year-old is now a regular collaborator with photographer Ari Seth Cohen and together that work to prove that age is just a number.
