Beyonce has announced the long-awaited Part II of her Renaissance album in a Super Bowl commercial.

Overnight the Kansas City Chiefs fought back to beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime and win their third Super Bowl in five years.

Although millions of eyes were on the game, just as much attention was placed on the celebrity attendees, Usher’s half time show, as well as the famous ads that air throughout the broadcast.

During an ad for communications company Verizon, Beyonce dropped the news that she had new music on the way.

In the advert, Beyonce attempted to overload Verizon’s capacity and ‘break the internet’ in absurd ways, such as playing the saxophone, creating a ‘Beyonc-AI robot’, dressing as Bar-bey (Barbie), running for president, and performing from space.

Watching on and keeping track of whether her attempts are successful is Veep star Tony Hale, who repeatedly must break the news that she has to keep trying.

At the conclusion of the ad, while in a rocket, Beyonce sends Tony the message that: ‘Okay, they ready. Drop the new music.’

Immediately following the advert, Beyoncé released two new songs titled Texas Hold ‘Em and 16 Carriages, both of which are country-style tracks.

A teaser video, which included the album title and release date (March 29) was then shared on her social media pages.

Fans were understandably excited when the news dropped, with many saying they were already loving her new tracks.

‘I’m shook- the power of Beyoncé to drop new music and announce an album on Super Bowl day, wow, she is next-level,’ user DancingInfinit1 posted on X.

‘Okay but Beyoncé releasing two songs tonight was just what I needed. Love them both and can’t wait for her new album in March,’ Shayna Hepler shared.

‘I did not foresee Beyoncé releasing a country album in 2024 but honestly I’m here for it,’ Tea Campbell added.

Attending the Super Bowl in Las Vegas alongside her husband Jay-Z and daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi, the performer was filmed in the crowd calmly sipping from a drink in the moments that followed the advert.

The first instalment of Renaissance project was released in July 2022.

Soon after, she revealed the album was the first of a three-act project.

The album won her a record-breaking 32nd Grammy.

Almost a year later, she embarked on the Renaissance World Tour, which was later released as a film.
