Bobby Brazier and Ellie Leach romance rumours are heating up to scorching temperatures.

The 20-year-old EastEnders star and the Coronation Street actress, 22, seem to be getting on very well indeed, as they were pictured bonding with her family amid their Strictly Come Dancing Live tour.

Tonight, when asked about Ellie at the TV Choice Awards 2024 Bobby told Metro.co.uk and other press: ‘Ellie is a sweetheart. She’s there. Look at her, she’s beautiful, she’s amazing. She’s a good dancer.’

After it was suggested he was a single man, and people could see something romantic happening between them, he said: ‘I’ve got some things to do. I’ve got career things to do. I’ve got personal things to do.

‘I’ve got other things to do. She’s good at what she does. She’s a lovely, lovely, lovely person.’

Asked directly if anything was happening, he responded: ‘She’s a lovely, lovely, lovely friend. You are really digging. You’ll have to see what she says.’

Bobby, who is the son of the late Jade Goody, was pictured getting close to Ellie’s family at the Strictly hotel last night, as he even held hands with her mother Karen, both sporting big smiles.

Another picture saw model Bobby affectionately hugging Ellie, as the pair goofed around.

Speculation has grown the duo could be an item, despite Strictly fans previously thinking Ellie had started dating her professional partner Vito Coppola, 31.

One recent photo showed the Bobby and Ellie – who took part in the BBC series last year – snuggling on the tour bus.

This came after they were spotted on a dinner date, at which they reportedly shared a cheeky kiss.

While in Birmingham, Bobby is said to have headed to Ellie’s room the morning after they enjoyed a party in the hotel bar.

‘Bobby was in our corridor knocking on Ellie’s door after their late-night bash at the hotel,’ a hotel guest said, according to The Sun.

‘Bobby was clearly not shy about nearly being in the buff as we were making our way down to breakfast.’

Despite all the hype surrounding the young stars, it’s been claimed Ellie wanted to keep things under wraps for a bit longer, and it was reported she was trying to distance herself from Bobby – who was a Strictly finalist with partner Dianne Buswell – in an effort to do so.

An insider claimed: ‘Ellie is usually really happy go lucky but she’s not been herself recently.

‘She’s even stopped chatting to fans who have been desperate to see her, which really isn’t like her.’

They continued to The Sun: ‘Ellis is super private and doesn’t really like people talking about her love life. She’s just keeping her head down and concentrating on the tour for now.’

While fans are all over the rumour, if they are romantically entangled Bobby and Ellie have managed to keep some of the other Strictly stars out of the loop, as judge Craig Revel Horwood told Metro.co.uk he wasn’t aware of the chat.

He told us: ‘Ellie and Bobby?! No, I didn’t [see that coming], I didn’t even know about that, but there you go.’

Nothing surprises Craig anymore though, having seen years of the Strictly curse striking the most unsuspecting subjects.

‘Nothing surprises me,’ he said. ‘I didn’t know about that, that’s news to me darling!’

Craig went on: ‘Romance blossoms, if there’s two single people then fine let them do whatever they want, I say.

‘I encourage love, peace and happiness.’
