Joe Wicks’ family had a terrifying moment after his wife, Rosie, was rushed to hospital.
They are already parents to Indigo, five, Marley, four, and one-year-old Leni, who they are raising while exploring and traveling the world together.
Joe has now revealed that Rosie underwent a health emergency earlier this month as she was rushed into hospital to have her appendix removed.
Appendicitis in pregnancy can be extremely dangerous to the mother and unborn child, with emergency surgery performed immediately upon diagnosis to prevent the serious risk to the foetus.
Thankfully, he added, both she and their unborn child are doing well.

Joe shared the news with a snap to Instagram showing Rosie’s growing bump with three medical plasters, revealing ‘Rosie had to go into hospital last week to have her appendix out.’
‘She and the baby are all good,’ he added. ‘She’s on the mend now.’
The plasters and lack of a large scar indicates Rosie underwent a laparoscopic appendectomy, which is minimally invasive and allows the appendix to be removed through small incisions.
Joe and Rosie announced they were expecting their fourth child with a surprise announcement in January, writing joyously: ‘Baby number 4 incoming!’
The fitness guru previously said he wants six children, and the couple are well on their way.
The much-loved couple started dating in 2016 and married in a dreamy countryside ceremony in 2019.
