Alice May shared an insight into her budget wedding via a video posted to her TikTok channel @alicexmayx.

In the video, Alice revealed that she managed to nab her wedding dress for just £130 from the online retailer.

According to a survey by Hitched.com, the average cost of a wedding dress in 2022 was a whopping £1,350, making Alice’s dress £1,220 cheaper.

For her wedding gown, Alice chose a simple white maxi dress with a bandeau top.

She said that the dress was two sizes too big, but she managed to get it tailored in time for her big day.

“It fit like a glove”, she said.

Alice paired her bargain frock with a long flowing pearl veil that trailed across the floor from Etsy.

The mum of four also took to ASOS to buy the evening dress for her special day.

She chose a stunning ruched satin halter neck maxi dress, which set her back £150.

Alice said the dress was “so comfortable”.

“We will not doubt you again ASOS”, she said.

Clearly a big fan of ASOS, Alice also got her bridesmaid’s dresses from the online retailer.

“They all looked stunning”, she said.

Alice and her husband planned their entire wedding in just six weeks.

According to a 2022 survey by Hitched.com, the average couple takes around 18 months to plan their big day.

TikTok users raced to the comments section of Alice’s video, to share their thoughts on her budget wedding dress.

One user said: “You’re killing it and making it look designer.”

Another user said: “Absolutely beautiful”.

A third user chimed in: “You look amazing!”
