‘Absolute bargains’ shoppers delight about designer trainers slashed to £11 in online sale… & there’s an extra 20% off

WITH the cost of living crisis wreaking havoc on Britain’s purses, many of us are shopping exclusively in the sale section.

But the good news is, retailers are flogging things for up to 90% cheaper online, meaning we don’t have to dedicate weekends to sifting through rails.

That includes department giant House Of Fraser.

Eagle-eyed shoppers have noticed that the retailer has slashed the price of trainers on its website.

Reduced brands include Skechers, Adidas, New Balance, Tommy Hilfiger and even Asics.

What’s more, there’s an extra 20% off with the code OUTLET20.

Many shoppers have taken to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to boast about their steals.

Saffron Phillips said she picked up “absolute bargains” thanks to the mega reductions.

She nabbed white Puma trainers for £16 down fro £64.99, and black ones for £11.20 down from £45.

Similarly, Amanda Duffy picked up a pair of Loyalti Firenze Trainers for £14, down from £85.

The kicks are covered in rose gold glitter with a thick white sole.

“Update your weekend trainer collection with the Firenze Trainers,” a blurb on them reads.

“They feature a thick sole for that modern fashionable look along with the Loyalti branding signature.

“Very sleek in design and a great addition to any collection.”

Tina Georghiou picked up men’s Skechers for over £50 cheaper than the retail price.

“Got these men’s trainers from House of Fraser online, was £69 down to £22,” she penned.

“There’s a code for an extra 20% off, so the price was £17.60.

“They have them in black too.

“Lots of trainers are greatly reduced.”

House of Fraser started as a small shop in Glasgow way back in 1849 and was a multi-million pound global brand by 2013.

However, it sparked “ghost town” fears last year after pulling down the shutters on three stores.

The news came after Frasers Group chief executive, Michael Murray, described the retailer as a “broken business” and said it is likely to “diminish”.

That could explain why House of Fraser’s online offering is so extensive now, with shoppers able to nab mega-bargains on designer goods.
