But in this post, she was stunned by her latest thrift find.
“I feel personally victimized by the A+ quality of thrift shop hauls,” she joked.
“I have something that might help restore your faith in Australian thrift stores,” she added.
It was another day in another thrift store, and it was looking like she was going home with her hands empty.
“I was going through rack after rack, no luck,” she wrote.
“So I headed over to the men’s section looking at blazers.
“Suddenly my hand lands on something that felt suspiciously good quality,” she said.
There was no mistaking, she had found something special.
“On closer inspection have a look at the buttons,” she said.
The gold buttons bore the iconic “YSL” logo, and the label inside confirmed the status of this item.
“A Yves Saint Laurent blazer,” she said.
There were further surprises in the store when she went to pay.
She discovered that all men’s clothing was half-price.
“So I got this beautiful 100% wood YSL blazer for $4,” she said, smiling widely.
