I’m jealous of my six-year-old daughter’s enormous walk-in wardrobe and ensuite…but we promised her a dream bedroom

IF you have ever dreamed of having your own walk-in wardrobe, be prepared to be very jealous.

A mum has revealed how her six-year-old daughter has her own stylish room dedicated to her clothes and shoes, and admitted even she is envious of the glamorous space.

A mum shared the walk-in wardrobe she made for her daughter Maddisontiktok/@ourhouseatrowlandsreno

The room included a white vanity table and stooltiktok/@ourhouseatrowlandsreno

The mum uploaded a video giving a tour around Maddison’s very chic storage room.

The little girl’s walk-in has white wardrobes to hang her dresses and tops, along with a large mirror for trying on outfits and a vanity table for getting ready.

On top of the table, the mum showed how the girl has a collection of nail polishes and accessories.

Meanwhile, the lucky six-year-old also has a huge separate bedroom and a modern-looking en-suite – all pink themed.

On her @ourhouseatrowlandsreno account, the mum wrote: “This is our 6 year old’s dressing room and pink en-suite.

“I am super jealous that her old bedroom is now a huge dressing room!

“A very lucky little girls dream.

“2 years we have promised her the dream bedroom which she finally has.”

Her video has racked up hundreds of likes, and people were hugely impressed.

One said: “lucky little girl.its beautiful.”

Another added: “Her dressing room looks so good.”

A third wrote: “Dream wardrobe.”

If you crave having your own walk-in wardrobe, it doesn’t need to cost loads, providing you have the space.

A couple who were quoted more than a thousand for a custom walk-in-wardrobe pulled up their sleeves and did it themselves for a fraction of the price.

Hari, 25, and his partner Jamie decided to transform their spare room and tackled the project using bargains from B&Q – saving them hundreds.

Hari told money-saving community LatestDeals.co.uk: “We had recently renovated our home and after the main jobs were done, we moved onto the bedroom.

“After discussing ideas, we decided to remove the wardrobe in the bedroom and use the unused guest bedroom as a wardrobe.

“We looked at many ideas and designs, and even had an online quote done from IKEA which came in way over £1k, so we looked for the next alternatives but were set on having a open wardrobe.

Hari said they went shopping in B&Q for some paint and came across the form dressing kit.

“We purchased two form pole and satelit matt white dressing kits at £110 each and two form pole matt white wardrobe dressing kits at £45 each.

“We then purchased the canvas boxes from Dunelm for three for £8.

“It was all flat pack and took us roughly two hours to build. It was a DIY pack so we just followed the instructions.”
