Singer Olly Murs and wife Amelia Tank have celebrated the upcoming arrival of their first child in a seriously unique way.

The former X Factor star, 39, and fitness model Amelia, 30, tied the knot last summer, and in December revealed they were expecting a baby together.

Now the couple have thrown themselves into preparing for parenthood – including by throwing the most unusual baby shower possibly of all time.

Mums-to-be often mark their pregnancies with a party, but Olly and Amelia took a slightly different route as they gave a theme to the celebration.

That theme? Greggs. Or, sorry, preggs.

Olly took to Instagram to share a series of snaps from the big day, which included a catering van giving out Greggs treats to guests, decorated in the trademark blue-and-yellow and bearing the name ‘Preggs’.

Also written on the side of the van was a message for the couple: ‘Congratulations Olly & Amelia.’

On offer were sausage rolls and bakes, pizza and wedges, and – in a move you won’t often see in your everyday Greggs – flutes of champagne.

Amelia happily posed by the van, one hand holding up a Greggs paper bag and the other resting on her bump. In another photo, the husband and wife grinned at the camera while Olly showed off a message on the bag declaring it would satisfy ‘your pastry cravings’.

It added: ‘Congrats on your troublebaker!’

And to top it all off, Olly got into a giant sausage roll costume. Because that’s what baby showers are all about.

It comes after Amelia and Olly shared their baby news with a sweet snap on social media, with Amelia standing against a wall smiling and revealing her bump, and Olly holding an ultrasound.

The couple first met through social media back in 2019.

They went public with their romance in 2020 and Olly then proposed in December 2022 in an intimate cliff-top moment.

He shared details about their wedding – dubbed ‘Murs-fest’ – with Hello! magazine and admitted he cried like a toddler when he saw his wife-to-be walk up the aisle.

Olly’s wedding was aptly star-studded and the guest list included famous friends such as Towie’s Mark Wright and the singer’s house band featuring Katie Holmes-Smith.
