I’m a short legged gal but found the ultimate Zara trousers – people claim they’re still too long but they’re perfect

A PETITE fashion influencer claims that she’s found the perfect pair of trousers for women with shorter legs.

Drawing inspiration from traditional tailoring techniques while embracing modern trends, Zara‘s new Pinstripe Boxer Trousers are a style staple.

Camilla King said she “loves everything about” Zara’s new trousersInstagram/@camillaking_

She dubbed the design “petite friendly”Instagram/@camillaking_

And according to Camilla King, they’re also “petite friendly”.

Modelling the pegs on Instagram, the mum-of-two penned: “To the girl who messaged me to say these boxer trousers are petite friendly, thank you.

“I love you.

“I’ve been waiting to find a pair of these trousers that don’t drown me for so long.

“I love everything about these.

“So to all my short legged gals: run, don’t walk for these!”

The trousers cost £25.99 and are still in stock on the Zara website in sizes small, medium and large.

They are mid-rise trousers featuring interior fabric with a contrast elasticated waist and a straight-leg design.

They come with a £22.99 matching strapless top in the same size range.

The off-the-shoulder bandeau with a symmetric straight neckline, front slit and invisible side zip fastening.

However, after sharing the design on social media, people were quick to suggest they were still “too long” on Camilla.

“No, not for me!” she responded.

“I prefer my trousers to be long over the shoe to elongate my legs.”

What’s more, the vertical lines created by the pinstripes have a visually elongating effect, helping to create the illusion of a taller silhouette.

Whether you’re attending a formal soirée or enjoying a leisurely day out, the new Zara trousers are great for transitioning from day to night.

Pinstripes were originally associated with traditional men’s suiting in England during the 19th century.

They were primarily worn by bankers, businessmen, and professionals who sought to convey an image of respectability and authority.

Now, they’re a capsule wardrobe staple for women.

Pair them with a crisp white blouse and heels for a polished office ensemble, or dress them down with a sweatshirt and trainers for a chic weekend look like Camilla.
