Live TV certainly comes with its fair share of blunders and slip-ups and Saturday Night Takeaway proved to be no different after one stunned audience member swore on air.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were joined by Josie Gibson, Jordan North and Judi Love in various locations around the country during tonight’s programme.

But in a shock to members of the audience, the trio were presenting from inside some people’s homes.

With former Radio 1 DJ Jordan wearing audience member Anita’s dressing gown from her living room, Josie tucked inside Mark’s bed and Judi diving into Prakesh’s fridge, they certainly made themselves at home… much to the shock of the homeowners.

As Ant and Dec jumped around the audience to see who would be at risk of having their homes aired on national TV, they turned to Prakesh – who had no idea what was coming.

‘Oh f**k, oh jesus!’ he screamed, as the mic was thrust in his face.

Despite his surprise, thankfully, Prakesh scored full points after spotting the differences Judi made in his kitchen, and won a Takeaway Getaway.

Fans were distracted from the game being played by catching his language though, with viewer Craig writing on X: ‘Did he just swear?? lol.’

Channelling their inner AJ Odudu, Tyrese joked: ‘Prakesh please do not Swurrr.’

Ant and Dec later issued an apology for the slip-up, which aired hours before the watershed.

‘A little apology if you did hear any language during that, we are very sorry, live TV and all that,’ Dec said as Ant grilled: ‘Who was it?’

Dec joked: ‘I’m not looking at anybody or saying any names, but Prakesh!’

Others however were left in hysterics at the obvious shock on Prakesh’s face.

‘Can’t believe that fella just shouting “ohhh f**kkkkkk”,’ CJ laughed.

Saturday Night Takeaway airs at 7pm on ITV1.
