Last night’s Oscars were filled with jaw-dropping moments, from Ryan Gosling bringing the house down with I’m Just Ken, to Al Pacino seemingly messing up the biggest category of the night.
Many stars turned heads as they graced the red carpet in their stunning gowns and suave suits… including Lupita Nyong’o and Joseph Quinn, who were extremely affectionate as they posed together.
Lupita has recently been romantically linked with actor Joshua Jackson as of late, who split up from his wife Jodie Turner-Smith last year.
So it’s understandable that fans of the Hollywood A-listers were in a state of mass confusion over Black Panther’s Lupita, 41, and Stranger Things star Joseph, 30, looking closer than ever at the glitzy event.
‘Wait a minute wait a damn minute,’ an X user going by the handle @_giulsz wrote.
‘Why was I blushing watching them,’ remarked Noelle, while Meaghan added: ‘I missed that they were together but they look so cute.’ However, all may not be as it seems.

Anyone who’s kept up to date with the latest news from Tinseltown might be aware that Lupita and Joseph are starring in an upcoming new film together – and it’s going to have you on the edge of your seats.
Coming this summer, A Quiet Place: Day One is set to tell the tale of the alien invasion which led to the first two A Quiet Place films, helmed by John Krasinski.
Lupita will be playing the role of Sam, while Joseph will be portraying Eric, as they grapple with the seemingly impossible task of trying to survive in a world where monstrous creatures can track even the quietest of sounds.
So, it seems that their joyful show on the Oscars red carpet was simply a case of early promo for their movie, rather than any romance sparking up between the pair.

‘They promoting a movie let my sister work y’all,’ @keyon wrote on X.
‘Quotes need to be calm, they got a movie coming soon it’s just pr,’ @RlSEOFTY also added.
If anything, hopefully their joint appearance at the Oscars is a testament to their brilliant chemistry on screen in A Quiet Place: Day One! We’ll just have to wait and see.
It’s been 10 years since Lupita won an Oscar for her performance in 12 Years a Slave, and she marked the occasion by wearing a similar blue gown at this year’s Academy Awards.
‘10 Years and still at it ❤️💃🏿,’ she wrote on Instagram.
One fan called Lara responded: ‘I KNEW this was an ode to your 2014 dress!!! Love it 🤗🤗.’
