PRIMARK has unveiled a new Hello Kitty themed cafe at a Glasgow branch – and shoppers say they are “buzzing” to visit.
The retailer has teamed up with Japanese firm Sanrio to mark 50 years of the iconic character.

The high street giant has given its Braehead and Edinburgh stores a makeover and fans are loving it.
From now until June, the cafe will serve up an array of limited-edition treats inspired by Hello Kitty, such as sweet waffles and savoury ‘bow’ buns, alongside themed beverages including a choice of bubble teas and shakes.
A new collection has also been launched in selected stores, including trendy graphic tees, nightwear, and collectable bags.
Fans of the character can also snap up mugs, stationary and beauty products.
Overall, the range features more than 100 items across womenswear, kidswear and homeware.
Hello Kitty fans flocked to social media to react to the new cafe, with many planning their next visit.
One wrote: “This is not a drill!”
Another said: “Travelling three hours to Glasgow just for Hello Kitty in Primark.”
A third added: “I was here today, I spent £527 on Hello Kitty.”
A fourth weighed in: “Need to go here honestly”.
