The ‘Copenhagen blouse’ is this season’s must-have…the best high street dupes of the Ganni version but for £127 less

THERE’S a new micro trend that’s got the fashion world buzzing.

We’re talking a Scandi vibe, with a boxy fit, big sleeves and bows.

The ‘Copenhagen blouse’ is storming both the high street and influencers’ social media feeds.

With the streets of the Danish capital full of women sporting the look, the trend has now hit our own shores, with shops such as Ganni (and their British look-a-like Damson Madder) and H&M embracing the style.

While Ganni’s leopard-print top will set you back £155, we’ve searched the high street for some fab dupes.

The top combines signature bow ties down the front with an exaggerated sleeve, and it can be as feminine and frilly or as subtle as you like.

Here, the Fabulous Fashion team reveal how they wear their Copenhagen blouses.

It’s nice to see a trend that isn’t earth-shatteringly new but is also a little bit different to a plain ol’ blouse.

I love this look, and it’s so versatile.

Should you not want your bust out, just flip the top around and the detailing will sit at the back instead.

Plus, it’s trans-seasonal.

When the sun is shining, I can’t wait to wear this bargain top from Next (which also comes in white) with just a pair of denim shorts and sandals. But I also love it for now with jeans, a satin maxi skirt or even tailored trousers for when I want to make a little bit of an effort but not overdo it.

And here’s a top tip if you’re conscious of showing off a little bit too much stomach or bust, like me – you just need to arm yourself with some boob-tape or double-sided tape.

I swear by Hollywood tape available at Amazon, which comes in a small, handbag-sized tin and will hold all day and night.

Although I love the Ganni-style Copenhagen blouse as much as the next fashion influencer, I would feel totally exposed wearing one.

Three ties at the front might be nice over a bikini when you are heading to the beach, but as I am more likely to be heading to the office, I’ll stick to something with a bit more coverage!

Thankfully, this & Other Stories blouse has the Scandi vibe but without the exposure.

The puffed sleeves and peplum will give me a bit of shape, as I am quite straight up straight down.

And I’ve teamed it with these cool striped pyjama pants, which I will be living in this summer, plus a woven bag from All Saints.

I’m all for this style of top, as I love both the tie detailing and the sleeves, but as someone with a larger chest, I was hesitant about how it would look on me.

However, this Nobody’s Child version means I can still hop on board the trend without my top gaping too much, which is perfect.

I decided to pair the blouse with these Toast trousers that I’ve had my eye on for a while, as they look so comfortable and I love the checked pattern.

Plus they’re a great lightweight pair of trousers to have in my wardrobe for the change of season.

Finished with some pretty ballet flats, gold earrings and a cute bag from M&S, I’m obsessed!

Ganni-inspired bow tie tops have been on my style radar for a while now, so I’m glad that I can buy into the trend without breaking the bank, thanks to H&M.

In my job I get to see all the new designs about to hit the high street and, recently, I’ve come across an array of quilted jackets with brightly coloured floral prints – and it’s safe to say I’ve fallen in love with every single one.

For a girl who usually sticks to neutrals, they really add a pop of colour and some fun to my wardrobe.

This orange one from La Redoute is reversible, so you get more bang for your buck.

I’ve also recently been on a mini-break to Spain and the four days in the sun has left me with a nice light tan, so it’s time to get my legs out!

So I’ve paired my blouse with some dad-style shorts.

Imagine this look for an evening in a pub garden – dreamy.
