Best UK gaming deals: Tekken 8 and Suicide Squad already half price-Adam Starkey-Entertainment – Metro

We round-up the best gaming discounts of the week, including Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and Resident Evil 4 remake.

Microsoft has just kicked off the Xbox Spring Sale, but there’s also some other notable game discounts across the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 at the moment.

There’s essentially a sale across all three platforms every month at this point, and while they do feature many familiar faces, there’s always some noteworthy new additions too.

One of the best deals this week is on Amazon, for Tekken 8, with a half price reduction from £69.99 to £34.99. The fighting game sequel only came out in January (and it’s excellent), so this is the perfect time to jump in if you’ve been waiting for a decent discount.

Elsewhere, if you’re after something slightly less excellent, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has also been reduced to £34.99 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. It’s not a great game but if you have some friends to team up with there’s still some enjoyment to be found in this co-op shooter.

For Xbox owners, Microsoft has started an Xbox Spring Sale which includes over 1,000 discounts on games. This promotion runs from Friday, April 5 until April 18, so you’ve got some time to consider your options.

The best choices? Resident Evil 4 remake is down to £24.73, while all three modern Tomb Raider games can be collectively bought in the Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy for £15.74, a reduction from £44.99.

For something more recent, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is down to £26.99. Those searching for some ultra cheap bargains have Control for £6.24, co-op adventure A Way Out for £4.99 ,and Back 4 Blood Ultimate Edition at a mere £9.99 – a drop from £99.99.
