Stacey Solomon has assured fans her dogs are safe and well after receiving ‘millions’ of messages from people concerned for their safety.

The TV personality and former X Factor legend, 34, has a good relationship with fans on social media, sharing regular updates on her home, family and career with followers.

Stacey lives at home in ‘Pickle Cottage’ with husband Joe Swash, 42, and her five children Zachary, Leighton, Rex, Rose and Bell, aged between 17 and one.

And this week the proud mum shared an adorable photo of her two youngest, sisters Rose, two, and Belle, one.

In a video, Rose shook out a box of raisins for her baby sister, who was sitting on a high chair and happily eating the fruits.

But more than a few raisins had fallen on the floor, and when Stacey told Rose to pick them up, the toddler giggled and suggested the dogs could eat them.

However raisins can be poisonous to dogs, and if eaten could lead to devastating symptoms from gut problems to kidney failure.

While the dogs weren’t in the video and didn’t appear to be near the high chair or the floor where the raisins had fallen, animal lovers decided it was better to be safe than sorry.

They messaged Stacey in their droves warning her not to give raisins to her two pups, Teddy and Peanut.

And Stacey replied publicly to one on her Instagram stories, saying she had ‘literally 10 million’ messages telling her dog’s shouldn’t eat raisins.

‘This is why I was telling Rose we have to pick them up & they can’t be eaten by the doggies & there are no doggies around Belle’s high chair when usually that’s their fave spot.’

She added: ‘But just in case any of that still wasn’t clear… DON’T feed raisins to dogs.’

Stacey is vocal about her love of being a mum and often shares adoring videos of her five kids.

She shares Rex, five, Rose, two, and one-year-old Belle with husband Joe, and is also mum to Zachary, 16, and Leighton, 12, from previous relationships.

Joe is also dad to 16-year-old son Harry from a previous relationship, and despite the full house, both Stacey and Joe have spoken about potentially having more children, whether naturally, through fostering or adoption.

Recently, Stacey responded to a fan question on whether she would look more kids by declaring her ‘favourite thing in the whole wide world is being a mum’.

‘I just get so much joy from watching our little ones grow & getting to be a part of their world.’

‘I would love more. Whatever will be will be. But omg I love them,’ she wrote, before joking ‘Joe will be off to get a vasectomy when he sees this’.

However Joe himself has confirmed he would love to foster a child, as his own mum Kiffy has worked in foster care for 15 years.

He told Netmums podcast: ‘Fostering is something that me and Stacey have talked about and would love to do.

‘We’d love to foster, we’d love to give something back, you know?’

Joe went on: ‘It is something that we definitely want to do when our kids get old enough that they’re not as reliant on us.’
