Primark fans go wild for ‘perfect’ summer holiday dress that’s making them want to quit the country immediately

FASHIONISTAS are going wild for a brand new knit dress that’s perfect for summer holidays.

The £21 frock from Primark has Brits itching to jet off, with many describing the style as “stunning” and “incredible”.

The slim-fitting knitted number ticks every box – it’s practical and cooling, but will have you looking glamorous in an instant.

The thin shoulder straps frame a straight neckline, while the midi length is designed to rest at mid-calf point.

It has geometric knit patterns through, with black laced through the body and blocking out the hem and neckline.

Thanks to the knit design, you won’t have to worry about the dress riding up when you’re walking around.

Fashion content creator Cheralyn Hitcham took to Instagram to pose in the dress.

“Love the second dress,” one woman penned in response.

“Ooooo, the [peach] in the knit dress,” another commented.

“The dress is stunning,” a third beamed.

“I can’t believe it’s Primark.”

What’s more, the frock is a dupe of Zara’s Long Knit Dress in ‘ecru’ from its summer collection last year.

The £35.99 number sold out weeks after its release, making Primark’s £12 dupe the perfect alternative for fashionistas still yearning for the style.

It was also shared on Primark’s own social media channels, with bosses at the fast fashion label revealing you may be able to spot it on a mannequin in your local store.

The Irish fashion giant plans to invest more than £100 million in its UK stores in 2024, as it marks 50 years on the British high street.

How to Pick the Best Travelling Outfit

Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale says: “When it comes to deciding on what to wear to the airport a number of factors need to be taken into consideration.
“What the weather is like in the countries you’re travelling from and to, how long your flight is (as comfort is key) and how much luggage you are bringing with you.
“If you’re going from one climate to another then you’ll want to make sure you have layers, plus this may be your only option if you don’t have lots of space in your luggage.
“A light jacket over a t-shirt with a thin scarf or jumper in your bag in case the plane is cold would work.
“Also don’t forget your sunglasses, although the hot burst of air is lovely as you step off the plane, you’ll need your sunnies in your handbag.
“Bottom wise go for something loose and comfortable, there are so many lovely pairs of wide leg elasticated trousers around at the moment, look for fabrics such as linen that are nice and light for a stylish yet comfy look.
“Finishing off with accessories, trainers are the most practical option, however flat sandals can also look lovely (just pop a pair of socks in your handbag for the plane), and a high cross body bag is perfect for keeping all your important documents near to you.”

Kari Rodgers, UK Retail Director at Primark, said: “We’ve changed a lot in the 50 years since we opened the doors on our first store in Great Britain in Derby back in 1974.

“But at our heart, we are still the same.

“We’re as committed as ever to offering the very best value on the high street and making great fashion more affordable and accessible for everyone.

“This latest investment will mean bigger and better stores, hundreds of new jobs across the country and shows our ongoing commitment to the UK high street.”
