WWE fans were left stunned as Solo Sikoa teamed up with new SmackDown signing Tama Tonga to take over The Bloodline.

Less than a week after Roman Reigns lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania, the Tribal Chief’s cousin Solo unleashed a brutal attack on his brother Jimmy Uso.

He echoed Paul Heyman’s earlier sentiments that losing has consequences, before turning his attention on Jimmy, who lost to his twin Jey last weekend in Philadelphia.

After hugging his sibling and speaking about the idea of family, Solo stepped back as Tonga hopped the barrier and unleashed a devastating attack.

The pair teamed up on Jimmy, leaving him battered in the ring after a chair assisted hip attack from Solo in the corner.

Commentators Corey Graves and Wade Barrett made a huge deal of Tonga’s arrival, immediately letting viewers know of his lineage as the son of infamous wrestler Haku.

‘I’m so hyped to see Tama Tonga in WWE! Let’s go! #SmackDown,’ tweeted @AmbitiousLeader, as fans freaked out over the massive acquisition.

‘TAMA TONGA LOOKS GREAT,’ added @YouCantSeeTre, while @AricSki wrote: ‘Holy cow Tama Tonga!!! I had no idea he was gonna join WWE!’

‘OH MY GOD THAT WAS A STRAIGHT UP EXECUTION FROM SOLO. What a debut from Tama Tonga, who has now joined The Bloodline. #SmackDown #Bloodline,’ said @elongatedbean, while @jester1147 enthused: ‘Bloodline hostile takeover time!!!’

Indeed, the seeds seem to be planted for another Bloodline civil war, potentially with twins Jimmy and Jey reuniting to take on Tonga and Solo, while Roman will still play a vital role.

There are also rumblings of another possible signing to add to the saga, with Jacob Fatu out of contract and heavily rumoured to be making the jump to WWE.

The latter is the son of ex-WWE star The Tonga Kid, while his uncle is Hall of Famer Rikishi, making The Usos – and Solo – his cousins.

Who is Tama Tonga?

The son of legendary wrestler Haku – who was initially his uncle before adopting him at an early age – Tama Tonga is no stranger to the international stage.

Alongside his brother Taula, he was trained by Haku and Rick Santana, before the Dudley Boyz got involved and helped them hone their skills.

Tonga built up an impressive reputation in New Japan Pro Wrestling, founding the Bullet Club alongside Finn Balor, Karl Anderson and Bad Luck Fale, and becoming a multi-time IWGP Tag and Openweight Champion.
