I almost panicked when I found 2 designer bags at Goodwill – I knew their real worth if I just cleaned them up
A LUCKY shopper scored fashion gold when she found two designer bags at Goodwill.
But she almost panicked because she knew how much money these much-coveted items could really fetch.

They can sell for huge sums, and she was one lucky lady to find them at a thrift store.
All she had to do was clean them up, and they were as good as new.
She posted her find of the century on Reddit, and could hardly believe her good fortune.
“I found two Hermés bags at a Goodwill within a month in Los Angeles,” she said.
Her fashion eye did not let her down. She knew she had found something special.
“[One was] a Constance, in navy blue, and [the other] was an Evelyn, in a light blue in color.”
They were not in great condition, but this lady saw their potential.
“Both were fairly trashed but still usable. I had them professionally cleaned and repaired,” she said.
“I literally almost panicked when I found them. I was so scared someone would grab them from me,” she wrote.
Hermés is a luxury French design house that specializes in leather goods and lifestyle accessories.
The brand’s secondhand bags are much sought after and reach enormous sums.
Auction houses even have handbag experts.
Last year, Sotheby’s in Hong Kong sold a Hermés Birkin Matte Alligator Palladium handbag for $280,670.
This winning bid made it one of the most expensive handbags ever sold.
Another London auction house, Christie’s described one of our Redditor’s purchases, the Constance, as one of a “holy trinity of Hermés bags.”
The other two were the Birkin and the Kelly.
“Although designed more than 50 years ago, the Constance’s elegant shape and functional design make it a favorite among collectors,” said Christie’s.
“It is said that a Constance can be harder to find than the more well-known Birkin and Kelly,” they added.
It was certainly a good day’s shopping for our Redditor.
“I sold them for around a $2,600 profit,” she said.
