Alison Hammond has ‘never been happier’ as This Morning host’s ‘new man’ revealed-Robert Oliver-Entertainment – Metro

Friends of Alison Hammond say she’s ‘never been happier’ after the TV host shared pictures of her sharing laughter and hugs with a new mystery man.

The popular This Morning and Bake Off presenter, 49, took to Instagram to share lots of loved up and happy photos with a handsome bespectacled gent whose name is still unknown.

In one close-up selfie, Alison had a huge smile on her face as she beamed into the camera, while her male acquaintance – who donned a brown leather jacket and a smart hat – followed suit with a smile of his own.

Another picture showed them with their arms around each other’s shoulders, while a stylish black and white photo showed them with their backs to each other in a bench in a quiet public garden.

One last selfie showed the two getting cosy as they huddled into the picture, with Alison again looking like she’s having the time of her life at the moment.

A source told The Sun: ‘Alison has never been happier. She has had a turbulent love-life, but is finally confident she has found a trusted companion. They looked just like honeymooners.’

Alison shares her 19-year-old son Aiden with her ex-husband Noureddine Boufaied – after their split she later admitted to feeling like a ‘failure’ for breaking up with her son’s dad.

She then said she’d gained a new perspective: ‘You’re not a failure, listen, I felt that failure when I split up with my son’s dad. His dad moved on, he’s married, he’s got three other children, they’re part of our family as well. You don’t know how it’s going to work out, it’s part of your story.’

There’s no word yet on whether this new man is officially Alison’s new partner but their selfies definitely suggest that whether they’re friends or something more, she’s living her best life with him right now.

Alison has been frank about her single relationship status in the past, revealing in March last year that she had been wearing a Pear Ring – a ring worn by single people to advertise their status to others.

When co-host Dermot O’Leary noticed during a Friday episode that she wasn’t wearing the Pear Ring, he asked her where her new jewellery was: ‘The green ring is gone?’

In response, Alison confirmed she’s still single and that she still owns a Pear Ring, despite not wearing one on TV during parts of 2023.

‘No, no, no. It is definitely not gone. Trust me, that ring is going nowhere,’ she said. ‘I’ve contacted the company and they’re going to send me a proper ring.’

The Pear Ring is worn as part of a large social experiment that encourages single people to look for each other in public, rather than using dating apps.

Alison had been rumoured to be dating Ben Hawkins since 2021 but reports later suggest that they’d split following two years together.

Around the same time, Alison spoke out, saying she will ‘always win’ after a man was arrested by police on suspicion of blackmailing her in 2022.

She said: ‘You want to know four main reasons why I will always win? I don’t hate on nobody, I pray, I stay in my own lane, and lastly, I’m not competing with nobody except for myself.’
