Viewers of The One Show are used to seeing Alex Jones presenting in chic blazers and glam frocks, but the TV star had a Pamela Anderson-esque moment on her recent holiday.

Channelling the Baywatch babes, the Welsh broadcaster looked stunning as she posed in a red swimsuit.

Alex, 47, jetted off to Lanzarote with her family for an Easter break in the sunshine, which involved sandcastle building on the beach and a bus tour to take in the sights.

Sharing a glimpse of her lush getaway with her 354k followers, Alex took to social media to leave us Brits green with envy as we remained caught in the wind and rain.

‘Feel so lucky to have enjoyed some sunny weather together in Lanzarote over Easter’, she wrote alongside a slew of adorable snaps featuring her son and daughter.

One snap captured mum Alex and son Edward, born in 2017, playing in the sand, while others showed the family of four topping up their vitamin D and dining out in Playa Blanca.

The star of the show, however, was Alex’s Baywatch moment, with one photo showing her strutting out of the sea in a one-piece.

Showcasing her fabulous figure, the BBC star smiled as the waves pooled at her feet.

She wore black sunnies to shield her eyes and let her brunette locks flow freely.

Taking to the comments, fans went all heart eyes for Alex.

Instagram user janet.dodson.165 commented: ‘Baywatch body Alex. You all look great.❤️’

Echoing her thoughts, markeaglefield wrote: ‘Baywatch Alex looking amazing ❤️😍’

Mum-of-three Alex has spoken previously about her desire to have kids, but specifically how she had a complicated relationship between her feminist identity and thoughts of becoming a mother when she was younger.

The Shop Well for Less? host shares her brood with husband Charlie Thomson, but suffered heartbreak along the way on her journey to parenthood.

Alex had a miscarriage in 2017 before welcoming Teddy, Kit, and Annie, and was 39 when she had her first child.

Having previously fronted a TV series called Alex Jones: Making Babies, where she trained as a fertility assistant in one of the UK’s top fertility clinics, Alex said she once considered it ‘un-feminist’ to think about starting a family when she should’ve been focusing on her career.

She told the How To Fail podcast with Elizabeth Day: ‘I thought it was a bit un-feminist in a way to even say, “I’m worried about my fertility,” because you’re so busy carving out your career.

‘Nobody wants to hear about the fact that you might want babies down the road.’

She added that she believes the perception is ‘shifting a bit’ but ‘slowly,’ and is still ‘very much there.’

Reflecting on her younger days and the beginning of her lucrative career, she recalled: ‘Throughout school, throughout your teenage years, throughout your twenties, the main thing is don’t get pregnant because that will mess up your career.

‘Nobody at any point said, “But you might want to think about [fertility] if you want a family because actually, it is as important as a career”.’

Alex added that, to some people, having a family may not be as important as having a career ‘but it’s still up there’ – and that as soon as you decide you’re ready and want a baby, ‘the tables turn – it’s a 360.’
