With running becoming more and more popular, sportswear sales have been on the rise.

But with the cost of living crisis still gripping the nation, expensive price tags and rising gym membership prices can make it difficult for those on a low-income to get fit.

However, Aldi has got things covered with everything you need to get you started on your fitness journey.

Aldi’s exciting range includes protein-packed pancakes, yogurts, granola pots and viral sensation protein puddings that racked up 3.7m TikTok views.

For those who wish to increase their protein intake, the budget supermarket has products starting from 75p.

But Aldi is also selling the clothes you need for your workouts.

Taking to TikTok, Aldi staff showed off what they bought from stores to kickstart their training.

It included £11.99 trainers, £9.99 running trousers, a £3.99 one litre water bottle, and a £12.99 running jacket.

Shoppers rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts.

One wrote: “Nice shoes.”

Aldi sportswear is also trending on TikTok, with many praising their sports bras as “so comfy”.

Aldi has become the go to place for bargains, with people kitting out their homes, wardrobes and friends for cheap.

One mum has managed to save hundreds on her shopping bills each month thanks to a five-rule method – it even means you should be picking up bread for 20p.

Money Saving Mum Kirsty Holden says shoppers should ordering bulk food online, avoid the branded foods, make sure you look out for dupes, meal plan and not be tempted by every offer.
