Mel B cosies up to rarely seen fiancé after Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party-Ruth Lawes-Entertainment – Metro

Mel B snuggled up to her fiancé Rory McPhee in a taxi after enjoying Victoria Beckham’s epic 50th birthday celebration.

The Spice Girl and her beau were among many A-List guests at the £250,000 bash including Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and the rest of the girl band.

Mel, 48, looked sensational in a long red dress as she held Rory’s hand after they exited Oswald’s private members club in London and hopped into a cab.

The Wannabe singer later wrapped her arms around Rory, who was very dapper in a tuxedo and bow tie, as they travelled back home.

The couple certainly had a smoother journey than Posh who was spotted calling it at night at 3am and emerged from the swanky venue on her husband David Beckham’s back.

At the bash, all members of the Spice Girls – Mel, Victoria, Geri Horner, Mel C, and Emma Bunton – reunited for a rare performance in a clip shared by Becks on his social media.

In the video, the fab five performed the choreography to their hit song Stop while singing along to the classic Spice Girls tune, as David, 48, grinned from ear to ear.

Mel confirmed her engagement to Rory on an episode of Celebrity Gogglebox in2022 and spilled on how he popped the question.

She explained: ‘There were rose petals everywhere, a log fire, a hotel — which was Cliveden. It was very romantic. I love flowers.’

The 2 Become 1 singer said he told her: ‘I love you, you’re my best friend, I want to spend the rest of my life with you.’

Mel and hairdresser Rory started dating in 2018 but it’s thought that they knew each other for a while before getting romantic, as Rory is a friend of Mel’s cousin.

is a mother to three daughters – Phoenix Chi Gulzar, 23, Angel Iris Murphy Brown, 15, and Madison Belafonte, 11, from former relationships with Dutch dancer Jimmy Gulzar, second husband Stephen Belafonte, and actor Eddie Murphy.

Mel met Jimmy in 1998 when he was hired as a dancer for a Spice Girls world tour and they got engaged in May that year.

She fell pregnant a month later and they married in September before divorcing in 2000.

The Viva Forever musician then ended her marriage to Stephen, 48, in 2017 after claiming he had emotionally and physically abused her during their 10-year union.

In 2018, she became a patron of the charity Women’s Aid, after she was allegedly the victim of domestic abuse at the hands of her former partner – claims that Stephen denies.

As for her current husband-to-be, sources hail him as ‘lovely’ and ‘down-to-Earth,’ with Mel’s friends and family said to be ‘over the moon’ with her engagement.
