‘Perfect for the plane’ shoppers rave about Primark bag that looks tiny at first but has hidden feature

SHOPPERS are in a frenzy over a new Primark backpack, which looks tiny at first but has a hidden feature.

The fast fashion retailer shared details of the Two-in-One Quilted Bag via a video posted to it’s official TikTok account.

When the product is on the shelf, it looks like a small cross body bag, perfect for keeping small items like books, phone chargers and other small items in.

However, as a Primark staff member demonstrated in the video, the bag is actually much larger than it seems.

“Wait for it”, the staff member said, before showing how the bag actually opens out and becomes a large rucksack, big enough to fit clothes, shoes and more inside.

This means that you can start the day carrying a light cross body bag, but if you need to grab some groceries on the way home, you can transform it into a back pack, so that you can fit everything inside.

A description on the Primark website reads: “Ever left the house to realise you could have done with a bigger bag?

“This will be a thing of the past with this two-in-one option!

“You can enjoy the spacious design of a backpack or fold it up for a sleek crossbody bag.

“The backpack form is divided into two compartments and features a top handle and dual shoulder straps for convenient carrying, while the smaller silhouette enjoys a single zipped pouch and showcases a stylish quilted design.

“In an easy-to-coordinate cream shade, this is the accessory of dreams!”

The bag is an absolute bargain, at just £10 and comes in two different colours, cream and black.

Shoppers have been raving about the bag in the comments section of Primark’s video.

One person said: “Excuse me? I’m going to Primark TODAY to get this”.

Another person said: “This would be great for an aeroplane bag.

“The small compartment is great for books, phone, passport.

How To Pick The Best Travelling Outfit

The Sun’s Deputy Fashion Editor has broken down essential travel attire to get from A to B in style.

Abby McHale says: “When it comes to deciding on what to wear to the airport several factors need to be taken into consideration.
“What the weather is like in the countries you’re travelling from and to, how long your flight is (as comfort is key) and how much luggage you are bringing with you.
“If you’re going from one climate to another then you’ll want to make sure you have layers, plus this may be your only option if you don’t have lots of space in your luggage.
“A light jacket over a T-shirt with a thin scarf or jumper in your bag in case the plane is cold would work.
“Also don’t forget your sunglasses, although the hot burst of air is lovely as you step off the plane, you’ll need your sunnies in your handbag.
“Bottoms-wise – go for something loose and comfortable, there are so many lovely pairs of wide-leg elasticated trousers around at the moment, look for fabrics such as linen that are nice and light for a stylish yet comfy look.
“Finishing off with accessories, trainers are the most practical option, however, flat sandals can also look lovely (just pop a pair of socks in your handbag for the plane), and a high cross-body bag is perfect for keeping all your important documents near to you.”

“Then you can use it as a backpack for bigger stuff”.

A third added: “It’s just missing a side pocket for your water bottle”.

A fourth added: “This would be ideal for a festival”.
