Britain’s Got Talent’s latest episode has been hit with several Ofcom complaints after one woman’s unique audition.
Kimberly Winter’s unusual act saw her stand before judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell, and Bruno Tonioli on the ITV show, and burp the song The Winner Takes It All by ABBA. Yes, really.
The full-time mum shocked the audience and panel alike when instead of singing along to the background music, she began to make a completely different type of sound.
An instantly unimpressed Alesha, 45, immediately got out of her seat, while Amanda, 53, placed her face behind her hands. The usually hard-to-impress Simon, 64, found the whole thing amusing and giggled.
At various points in the performance, the camera panned round to the audience who were aghast at what they witnessed. While hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, both 48, reacted by pretending to be sick.
Alesha and Bruno, 68, heard all they wanted to hear so after around thirty seconds they hit the red buzzer to get her off stage.
Despite their disapproval, Kimberly still had her moment and took a small bow after concluding the song.

The won-over audience rewarded her with a cheer, and Amanda then began to join in on the belching. This was all too much for Alesha who stated: ‘I’m out of here.’
‘It was so stupid, it was brilliant,’ remarked Simon. His son Eric, nine, then ran up to the desk to steal his microphone and burp down it, which seemed to inspire Simon to join in on the madness.
Kimberly had travelled from America to appear on the show, and it wasn’t a wasted journey as she was put through after Bruno had a change of heart joining Amanda and Simon with yeses.

Explaining his reason, Bruno said: ‘I can’t possibly imagine how you’re going to outgross this grossness.’
The April 20 episode has received 54 Ofcom complaints – with the broadcaster watchdog confirming to Metro.co.uk that all were connected to this singular audition.
Some viewers took to X to express how disgusted they were by the whole segment.

‘I can’t burp on command. Plus it’s just revolting,’ wrote Flopsy Pickle.
Vikky added: ‘What was the burp performance even about? Like what was she trying to achieve? It was just utterly disgusting!’
‘Coming on TV to burp?! We need to bring back shame,’ insisted Kayla Saunders.
However, others were in support of her choice of act. ‘Imagine the look on the Queen Consort’s face when Kimberly busts out a burp rendition of Waterloo. Forget the Golden Buzzer, she deserves a knighthood,’ wrote account Spotted Bargains. The winner of Britain’s Got Talent is given £250,000 cash and a spot on the bill of the Royal Variety Performance.
While Bizzy Lizzy ‘laughed so much’ while watching the audition.
Elsewhere on the weekend’s episodes, escape artist Danny ZZZZ locked himself inside a box and set it on fire.
The flames erupted quicker than expected, leading the auditionee to break the bottom of the box to get out safely and Simon couldn’t hide his disappointment.
Britain’s Got Talent continues on Saturday, April 27 at 7.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
