My airport style doesn’t deviate too much from my day-to-day style -I go hard on layering, neutrals and comfort.
I layer a butter-soft tracksuit with a white T-shirt underneath that I can zip up and stay warm under the aircon in and take off once that hot air hits me on the tarmac.
My top tip is to use a big straw bag that’s perfect for the plane and your holiday – why take up valuable packing space with unnecessary bags?
I need to be able to fit beach towels, suncream, water and books in it for trips to the beach but also everything I need for the flight, including an emergency change of clothes should my bags not make it to my destination.
I always wear a blazer over the top of my tracksuit, as it keeps you warm when you arrive in the middle of the night for your flight, plus if the weather should turn when you’re on your holiday you can use it when you’re there.
And of course, trainers are a must for comfort and any sightseeing.

A co-ord is the perfect way to achieve a chic look without actually trying too hard – this crisp-white one is super-chic.
My top priority when travelling is comfort, so I typically choose long sleeves and trousers to shield myself from the aeroplane’s chilly aircon.
I tend to pack my hand luggage into my beach bag to save on space in my case.
I’ve tried and tested this gorgeous woven bag from Damart on a recent trip to Marrakech, and it’s a great size for all travel essentials without being too heavy or bulky.
These New Look sandals are an absolute steal at just £27.99 – they’re giving Hermes dupe, but with a chunkier sole that’s great when you’re on your feet all day.
I avoid packing my hat into my suitcase, so that it doesn’t lose its shape.
This Primark one is ideal for protection from the sun and it’s super- stylish – I’ve had mine for a couple of years now and it comes with me on every trip.

When it comes to what to wear to the airport I’m all about practicality and comfort.
However, this is something I’ve only recently adopted.
It’s a running joke amongst my friends that I can spend a 10-hour flight in a pair of jeans, which was true back in the day, but I’m a changed woman.
A pair of elasticated trousers are my new go-to – they’re stretchy, comfy but still look smart and chic.
There are loads of striped pairs on the high street currently, and these ones from Stradivarius are a bargain at just £22.99.
On top of a basic T-shirt I’ve added a blazer, mainly because they’re my absolute wardrobe staple, but they go with everything and it means I can also use it on holiday when I’m dining alfresco.
Bag-wise I like to keep my important documents close to me, which is why my Cos crossbody bag is essential.
I also like to have a bigger tote for stashing my cosmetics, a book and of course snacks.
My outfit is quite neutral, so I’ve finished it off with a pop of colour in these pink Adidas trainers.
